The idea of getting a home equity loan while interest rates are low to help you pay off your bills, buy a car, or even pay for your child’s education may seem like a great idea. However, you should educate yourself first so you know exactly what a home equity loan is and if it is really right for you.
The basic idea of a home equity loan is that you can borrow against the current equity in your home, so the more equity you have the larger home equity loan you can receive. In essence, to receive a home equity loan you are using your home as collateral, or the basis, for the home equity loan. If you do not pay the home equity loan back, then your home is at stake and may be foreclosed upon. This is sobering news many people are not aware of, so getting a home equity loan requires some thought and the ability to repay the home equity loan as well.
However, you might be reading this and actually interested in a home equity loan, but have no idea what equity is or if you have any. Equity is how much of your home you have paid for. So, you take the home’s current value and subtract it from the amount you still owe, and that is how much equity you have in your home and what will ultimately be used to approve or deny your home equity loan application. For example, your home is currently worth $400,000 and you have $280,000 left to pay on your mortgage. Your current equity is $120,000.
You will need to know all of this information before you apply for a home equity loan to know if you have enough equity to even apply for a home equity loan. Plus, the more you know about applying for and negotiating rates for a home equity loan the better deal you will receive. Remember, knowledge is power and the more home equity loan knowledge you have the more powerful you will be able to negotiate.

What is at the heart of cool cars everywhere? Is it the speed they can travel at? Is it the thought of the wind brushing your hair? If it’s the latter, then you have a soft top (convertible), or someone’s pinched your roof!
Well, it could be either of these things. Or perhaps cool cars mean something else to you entirely. But to me, it is the shape of the car. Not so much cool cars but cool curves … Sexist? Perhaps, but true none the less. I think I classic car is defined by it’s architecture.
Look at any sports models over the years. What has defined them, made them stand out? Ok, the price is one thing, but take a step back and really think about what makes a hot car so cool?
There is something else that makes a car cool, at least as far as I am concerned. And that is the interior. Or to be more precise, what the interior is made of. My first car lives in my memory to this day, and surely that is the mark of a cool car. I can remember the smell of the leather seats and look of the wooden dash surround. Plastic just doesn’t cut it, especially not in more mass produced models.
And it had curves!
So what else puts the cool into a car for you?
For me personally, low is cool. The closer I am to the ground, the better I feel. Some people like to have a high vantage point, and perhaps that is cool to them. It certainly helps to have a better view of the road from a practical point of view.
For many, the colour of a car defines its ‘cool’. Red is often the colour to fuel associated with the hottest cars around (not surprisingly really). But what about black? There is something mystical about jet black automobiles, don’t you think? To some, an unusual colour is the height of chic as far as a car is concerned. You might not like bright yellow or lime green, but your will always notice them, won’t you. And to some folk, that is all that is required from a cool car.

Applying for your first home mortgage at first might seem like an easy process simply because people buy and sell homes every day. However, buying a home is not like buying a new bike, and applying for a home mortgage can be a long and drawn out process requiring a lot of patience and fortitude. However, if you know what to expect up front the home mortgage process will be much easier and a lot less stressful.
The following home mortgage tips will help you figure out how to best go about the home mortgage loan process for your situation.
Home Mortgage tip #1 Interest Rates
Before applying for your first home mortgage loan you will want to shop around and see what average home mortgage loan rates are. Shopping for home mortgage rates online is a timesaver and frequently have lower rates as well. Your home mortgage rate will affect how much money you have to pay back over the term of the loan, so the lower the better.
Home Mortgage Tip #2 Fixed or Variable Interest Rate
When it comes to your home mortgage loan there are more options than just a loan you pay back over a set amount of years. You can choose different home mortgage interest rates that work best for your current and future situations. So, before you apply for a home mortgage loan do some research on variable and fixed interest rates to find what will work best for you.
Home Mortgage Tip #3 Down Payment
When applying for a home mortgage loan for the first time you might not be aware of the general down payment you will be required to make. Many times a home mortgage loan requires between 10 and 20% of the price of the home, but if you have good credit sometimes you can make a lower down payment and still get a good deal on your home mortgage. This depends on the home mortgage lender, so shop around.

Since the introduction of digital scales, its market has increased enormously. Digital scales are the leaders of scale industry. They have become much more affordable from the time of their evolution in the market. The features of digital scale satisfy the needs of the most sophisticated weighing tasks. Their features differentiate them in a way, that it can weigh anything from the lightweight objects to the heavy weight objects.
Digital scales come with calibration weights, batteries, scale pad, small item tray, different weighing models and they are widely used for.
1. Laboratory, medical & clinical use.
2. Weighing of gold, silver of precious stones.
3. Weighing of herbal medicine &
4. Letter postal mail weighing.
5. Diet mixing.
Digital scales are the market leaders for the past two decades. In the earlier days the market leaders were only Tanita, Acculab and Ohaus but now every alternate day a new brand is introduced in the market. Because of this, the brand leaders are forced to lower their prices.
Digital scales are mainly manufactured in China. Many of the brands name have their setups in China. This has resulted in production of inferior quality digital scales; which are unstable & unreliable. Digital scales are now days available in variety of styles, sizes & of course different prices. This has resulted in a wide range of digital scale such as Digital Pocket Scale, Digital Bathroom Scales and Digital compact precision scale. Each of these scales have different feature and are used to monitor weight from the medical scales at the doctor’s office to the digital scale in the bathroom.
Digital scale being the market leaders has increased the competition. Increased competition in a marketplace is always a good thing. But then, this competition has negative as well as positive effects. Positive one will be that each & every company will opt for better & sophisticated product, While the negative one, will be that the increased demand in the market will force the companies to produce inaccurate & unreliable products. Hence, for better quality Digital scales the consumer have to go for brand companies’ products.
Citizen Scales Inc is a Branded Company manufacturing Quality Digital Scale Products.

Choosing a golf club can be very difficult if you are an experienced, much less a beginner. The reason finding the right golf club is so hard is because there are so many types, designs, and features you have to consider in correlation to your skill, swing and needs. The following golf club overview might help you choose the right golf club for you, or at least narrow it down.
Cast Iron Golf Club
The cast iron golf club is made from cast iron and the majority of the weight of the golf club is around the perimeter. Because of this the sweet spot is larger and this type of golf club is really great for beginners or those who have trouble making full contact.
Forged Iron Golf Club
The forged iron golf club is generally used by professionals simply because of its design and function. The center of the golf club is the center of gravity and the front of the club is a bit heavier. If you are an experienced player then you might consider a forged iron golf club.
Also, you will need to choose a size for your golf club as well from standard to midsize or oversized.
The standard club is smaller, so the sweet spot is as well. Generally professionals and advanced players use a standard club.
Midsize golf clubs are great because they have a bigger sweet spot and are a bit larger than the standard golf club. Average players frequently use midsize golf clubs because they are easy to control and have a larger sweet spot.
Oversized golf clubs are generally used by seniors and individuals who have a hard time hitting the ball straight on. The one problem with these clubs is they can be difficult to control. The bonus, a huge sweet spot so when you make contact your ball goes further!

A Martial art devloped in Israeli, Krav Maga means “contact combat” in Hebrew. Krav Maga continues to be defined through actual modern combat and real world self-defense experiences.
This martial arts style is currently used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and their military Special Forces. In the United States Krav Maga is used by members of the NYPD, FBI and the US Armed Forces. Many other elite military and police units around the world incorporate Krav Maga.
Krav Maga is becoming a poopular martial art if the U.S.
Today, Krav Maga is taught to men, women and children of all ages. In Israel this martial arts style has become part of the educational system.
Imi Lichtenfeld the founder of Krav Maga was born in Hungary and grew up in Bratislava. As a young adult he won national and international awards in gymnastics, boxing and wrestling.
Imis father was a police officer and self defense instructor. During the 1930s Imi honed his fighting skills on the streets a Bratislava, protecting himself and Jewish neighbors against anti Semitic thugs. These fights sharpened his awareness of the difference between sport and street fighting.
In the 1930s Germany was a dangerous place for Jews. Imis fighting to protect his family and neighbors became unpopular with the local police. He was ordered to leave his homeland in 1940.
He traveled for several years finally ending up in Israel which was then Palestine. Imi soon joined the a paramilitary organization known as Haganah and fought to create the state of Israel.
During this period he began teaching soldiers martial arts and basic self defense techniques. The Israeli government asked Imi to develop an effective fighting system. Imi became the chief instructor for the military school for physical training.
Imi continually developed and refine this unique system combat system. Israel was in a constant state of war with its neighbors. The techniques he developed were constantly being put to use and tested in real combat scenarios.
After his retirement from the military Imi devoted his time and energy to adapting Krav Maga to everyday life. The system spread rapidly to the civilian population and is now rapidly being accepted through out the world.

What are you willing to do to achieve your weight loss goals?
I’m approached quite regularly about which diet is best, which
book would I recommend and what exercise program should a
person follow. People think they can just purchase a book to
read and then some sort of magic occurs whereby reading it
will cause their fat to magically disappear. Well, I’m here
to break the news to you, the $40 investment in your weight
loss book is just the start, there’s a lot of hard work and
other expenses involved.
Time Investment
There’s time invested in your education (reading, watching
videos etc), time you’ll spend exercising doing both cardio
and weight training. There’s time spent creating your new
meal plans as well as preparation of those meals the day
before or days in advance. There’s time involved in doing
extra laundry because you’re suddenly doing more exercising
now on your weight loss journey.
Let me ask you this: What’s your favorite television show?
How much television are you watching in a given week? 1 Hour?
Six? Are you willing to eliminate television to allow
yourself time to go to the gym and prepare foods for the next
day? If not, then don’t bother buying books that recommend
food and exercise programs? It takes time to prepare food for
5 or 6 meals in a day and to go to the gym once or twice a
day. Weight loss requires a time investment.
Food Investment
The quality of the food you put in your body is directly
proportional to the quality of your cells. It’s your cells
that create energy and make your various bodily systems run,
and if they’re given the best quality food, then they’re able
to regenerate and be healthy.
Conversely, low quality food creates a low quality cell. A
low quality cell is not up to the demand of generating energy
nor the proper removal of wastes which then results in
sickness and disease.
In conversation with a fellow regarding his food program and
how he could make corrections to his diet to improve his
health, burn fat, improve his workouts and achieve his weight
loss goal, I suggested a few “new” products. Oatmeal, some
whole grain wraps, spring mix salad, and Essential Fatty Acid,
Almond butter and whole grain basmati rice were a few places
to begin.
“You didn’t tell me how expensive it was going to be!” was his
response.
Well, I don’t consider it expensive, so I would not have said
that it was.
Our cells are our power plants in our body. Our body is
constantly rebuilding itself daily and hourly. Our skeleton
replaces itself once a year and the muscular lining of our
stomach and our intestines is replaced every 3 to 4 days so it
only makes sense to give it the highest quality food. Doesn’t
it?
You’re probably going to come to the same conclusion that most
other people do. The food I put in my body creates a healthy
body and I must take care in my food choices.
Whole grain oatmeal costs more money than cocoa puffs. Raw
almonds cost more than hickory smoked almonds and you probably
never knew what Essential Fats or Pro Biotics were. Weight
loss requires an investment in food.
Cutting Expenses To Reach Your Goal
If you’re not able to increase the amount of food you eat
financially or the quality of the food you eat (organic), then
what are you willing to do to get it. Are you willing to cut
some other costs? Are you willing to increase your sales at
your job or home business to be able to afford this new
change? The first reasonable step is to make some switches or
replacements. Take note of non nutritional foods in your day
- consider snacks, junk foods, coffee, pop, cigarettes (I hope
you’re not still smoking), milk or dairy products, alcohol,
vitamins, tums, Rolaids, pepto bismol etc and see how much
you’re spending on a daily or monthly basis. Are you willing
to replace these for higher quality nutritional foods that
will support you in your weight loss goals? It can be a scary
thought for some people. Others accept the challenge readily
because they’ve truly committed to their weight loss goals and
are willing to do Whatever It Takes! Switching and replacing
is the easiest thing to do. Weight Loss requires sacrifice.
Invest in Yourself
Your body, your mind, your soul and becoming the best you can
be is the single best investment you can make. Make the
decision to eat the cleanest food you can, make the healthiest
choices you can, begin to switch from non nutritional foods to
nutritional foods and let go negativity in your life. Weight
loss is easy, but requires some investment.

During the mid-life phenomenon known as menopause, changes in headache type, duration and intensity are more common. Throbbing, explosive headaches can pain the sides of your head, and your energy become totally depleted. The slightest opening of an eye can cause a ripple of pain to burst on one side of your fragile head, leaving you in physical ruin. Menopause is known to heighten such uncomfortable, sometimes unbearable symptoms.
Menopause and headache changes, specifically, migraine headaches cause a repetitive stronger-than-normal headache that resides on one side of your head. During menopause, a woman’s hormone system goes awry in part because estrogen is not being produced at normal rates.
Most women nearing the end of a menstrual lifecycle discover that their progesterone levels can become significantly decreased and cause symptoms such as headaches they never had before, or worsen ones they have.
During menopause, other things like foods such as cheese, avocado, nuts, meat tenderizers, and chocolate have been known to bring on a migraine. Other factors a woman must look for are certain medications including oral contraceptives, changes in weather, fatigue, and alcoholic beverages.
During these headache changes, blood vessel walls in the brain widen and narrow quickly, causing pain nerves to overreact and stimulate pain. The “throbbing” feeling in the head is because of this bodily reaction. During menopause, signals that a migraine is coming can be frequent.
Some women get a warning; their eye sight may suddenly change, or bright spots or zig zag lines are seen. They report experiencing double vision, and in some cases temporary, partial blindness. Sometimes these changes may be followed by numbness and tingling of the lips, face hands, weakness of an arm or le
You need to pay attention to symptoms such as dizziness, extreme mental and physical fatigue, unsteadiness in walking, slight confusion of thinking and slight slurring of speech. Any of these can indicate the on-set of a migraine headache. The intensity of the headache can build until you have a full-force, throbbing headache that typically impacts one side of your head. There are also migraines that occur immediately.
These are quite common and women report that these headaches can last from a couple of hours to days in extreme cases. In severe cases, migraines can cause vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and noise.
If you want a quick fix to migraine headaches, a technique that helps some women is breathing into a paper bag. Inhaling and exhaling out of a paper bag can restore carbon dioxide intake and eliminate or lessen the effects of brought on by anxiety attacks. Using an ice cold pack and sometimes applying heat to the area can help.
Try staying in a darkened room and lying still as this can bring relief once a migraine has hit. Lying down provides relaxation which is critical to lessening the pain. If you know yoga, this is a good time to practice it. Also, take slow, depth breaths into the abdomen letting your attention watch your naval rise and fall (which calms the mind).
Some women benefit from evening primrose oil, progesterone cream and dandelion tea to detoxify the liver. Of course there are some women with symptoms so severe they need drugs such as imitrex. That’s where you need to follow your doctor’s advice.
The information in this article is for educational purposes only, and is not intended as medical advice.

Are you looking for the best work at home businesses? Do you
want to make money working at home in your own business, but you
don’t where to start? First of all we need to address a common
problem people have when they come to look for a work at home
business. They want to make money online for free!
Think about this for a minute. Is it reasonable to think you can
start your own home business and work at home without investing
anything into it? There is an old saying that goes something
like this..”there ain’t no thing as a free lunch” and that is
true when it comes to starting your own business and making
money working at home.
You are going to have to invest something eventually. Affiliate
programs make it possible to make money selling other peoples
products, but even with those you are going to have to spend
some money on advertising, building your own website, and on
internet marketing tools to help you build your business. You
are going to have to spend a little money on learning how to run
your own work at home business as well.
Now the good news for you is that the internet has leveled the
playing field for everyone. Regardless of where you live, your
appearance, your income level, your knowledge, etc. you can
start your own home business and make money working at it in the
comfort of your own home.
In it’s simplest form you are going to need 3 things.
1. Products 2. A website 3. An advertising and marketing strategy
I know there is a lot that goes into these 3 things, but all
work at home businesses have these 3 things in common.
When I first got started I had a simple goal in mind. I wanted
to create multiple streams of income using the internet to do
it. I had no idea where to start or how I wanted to do it. What
I found helpful was to get a legal pad and start taking notes as
I surfed around. Let’s face it the internet is a big world.
Everyone is an expert. How do you no what to believe?
Ultimately I stumbled into what is now know as the Plugin Profit
Site. It satisfied all of my requirements for starting my own
work at home business with multiple streams of income. And there
was one huge benefit that I have used over and over since
joining them in 3 easy steps. The Internet Marketing Warriors is
a group of thousands of online marketers that are doing the same
thing as us. The common goal here is to answer questions about
making money online. This forum has proved to be invaluable to
me because you can trust the advice you get here.
In a nutshell you get several work at home businesses in one
with your own Plugin Profit Site. Your own money making website,
your own plugin profit sales page, your own autoresponder set up
with a pre-written 400 day internet marketing newsletter,
training, the best ways and places to advertise and more.
I could go on and on about what this program has meant to me. I
now run several work at home businesses and it all started for
me by joining getting my complete money making system in 3 easy
steps.
One last thing. Although it is not free it is an affordable way
to start your own business online and stay at home and run it.
You are going to have to pay for hosting and one of the
affiliate programs has a monthly fee associated with it, but it
is not expensive and with everything all set up for and ready to
go you will not get your own work at home business going
anywhere else for less than this.

How many times have you had a dozen jobs that you’ve needed to do ……… but you’ve ended up doing none of them?
How many times have you lacked the motivation to plough through everything that you have to do just because your list of jobs seems never ending and getting started seems pointless?
Believe me, I’ve been there many many times and have seen more wasted days than I care to remember. However, I’m pleased to say that I have found a very simple method that has dragged me out of this motivational rut and now helps me to achieve more in a week than I was doing in a month before!
Now you’ll notice that I said I have found a SIMPLE method and because it is so simple there is a danger that you will dismiss the idea without giving it a try for yourself. This would be a mistake. You’re clearly reading this article because you’re, shall we say, slightly lacking in the motivation department just as I was, and so I would fully recommend that you give the method a try for at least a week (it will only take you a couple of minutes per day) before you decide if it will work for you.
So, let’s get down to business …….. Here are the steps I follow at the start of each day to ensure I get motivated to get things done:
1/ Get a sheet of paper and write today’s date at the top.
2/ Write the numbers 1 to 7 down the left hand side of the paper.
3/ Take a minute or so to decide on the one job that is most important to get done and completed today. Write this job in at number 1.
4/ Complete numbers 2 through 7 in the same fashion with number 2 being the next most important job, then number 3 etc etc.
Before I move on to step 5, here are a few points to bear in mind when you’re deciding what should be written at numbers 1 through 7:
> Make sure that some of the tasks will really achieve something today. For example, number 1 on my list each day is always ‘Email’ so that I can check my email and get any replies dealt with and out of the way early. But dealing with the build up of email is actually just ‘firefighting’ and keeping the backlog from building up rather than really achieving something. I therefore make sure that the next few tasks are things that will really make a difference to my business and that I will see as real achievements when I look back at what I have done during the day.
> If a task is very large then break it down into smaller chunks. As the old joke goes ‘How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!’ Similarly, if you have a large task to complete then break it down into smaller bite size portions. Some days, all of my numbers from 1 to 7 will be filled with just one task that is broken into seven chunks. Breaking a task down like this makes it all seem so much more manageable and achievable and even just completing one small part then seems like you’re getting somewhere.
So let’s get back on track with:
5/ Get started with task number 1 on your list. Do not move on to number 2 until you have completed number 1. Far too often we try to juggle ten things at a time and end up getting none of them done. Using this technique ensures that just one task is given our full attention and you’ll be amazed at how quickly it will get completed.
6/ When number 1 is completed, enjoy yourself crossing it off your sheet and congratulate yourself on a job well done. Now move on to number 2 …. and so on down your list.
7/ If you complete all 7 tasks before the day is over then again congratulate yourself ….. and start a new sheet numbered 1 to 7.
8/ If you get to the end of the day and you haven’t completed all 7 then don’t worry but just carry the uncompleted items over to tomorrow’s sheet.
And that’s it. I told you it was simple but I also assure you that it’s very very effective if you will only give it a try.
Why not start today, give it a one week trial ….. and see how much you’ve managed to accomplish by this time next week?

magine baking a chocolate cake with bakers chocolate and no sweetener. You would have a cake with no flavor, yet somehow manage to leave a nasty taste in your mouth.
The same can be said of characters who haven’t had been fully developed and spiced up a bit.
A hero or heroine with no history or depth will leave the same acrid taste in your reader’s mouth. He will open the book to sample it and never sink his teeth into it again.
Before writing your book create an outline of each character.
This should include:
1) character’s history
2) likes and dislikes
3) best friend
4) worst enemy
5) biggest problem
6) hidden strengths and talents
Then take a few pages and develop a full profile on your character, even if many of these details will never be seen in your book.
Why is this important?
If you don’t know your characters, your readers never will.
Worse yet they will come off as flat and uninteresting.
Ex. Matt went to school. He got into a fight with Peter and was sent into the principles office. They later made up and learned the meaning of getting along.
The end.
BORING
Matt and Peter were at it again. Julie covered her eyes, as the other students squirmed to get a better look.
Principle Snider stormed down the hall with murder in his eyes. This was the last straw.
Do you get a sense that there is a history with these two boys? What about their relationship with the principle? Why would Julie cover her eyes? Is she a longtime friend of one or both of them?
Create a rich history for each character then develop the connections between them. It will not only develop your characters more fully but may even fill your mind with storylines and potential conflicts.

bI have been looking at online pharmacies for sometime now, and I am always curious what is there to make you choose which one you will use?
Price? Are you looking for the quality drug at the lowest price? Well when I think of medicine I think of how much money it will cost me. In Canada I find that prescriptions are not as impossible to get for a reasonable price if you have the right benefits from your work and or your partner. Is it wiser to just get the prescriptions you need right online? No fuss, and no muss.
Convenience? I think this is the most important reason why people turn to the Internet. If you were limited with your mobility, how convenient would it be to just order online? The beauty of actually going up to your computer and while having your prescription you type in a few numbers and letters and Voila! Your required medicine in on the way and depending on the online pharmacy you use you, delivery could take up to 6 weeks.
Opportunity? The opportunity to have an option of choosing a generic brand of medicine with the same active ingredients as the name brand but are 20 - 40% cheaper than name brands. This I think is what the main attraction is to the online pharmacy. The option of more than one choice, just like any industry there should be options when choosing the brand of medication you are choosing.
The next and always most difficult question is how do you choose? Well the choice is almost unlimited but like with any online purchasing asking questions and finding out how legitimate they really are? All online prescriptions should require a prescription from your doctor. Is there someone you can talk to live, just like you could if you had walked in to a pharmacy? Is the pharmacy that the site is working with a registered?
The whole concept of the online pharmacy is to have all the same ideology of a walk in pharmacy but with the convenience of never leaving the comfort of your own home. Make sure you ask these questions before you go ahead with any transactions.
Many Online pharmacies offer the choice, best pricing, and most convenience of having your prescription drugs delivered right to your door. Which would you prefer? Ultimately the choice is up to the individual. For me I’m going to try my hand at the latest fad and order online and see what this adventure into the future of pharmacies is going.

Once a possible client comes to your website, whether they know it or not they are judging your company to see if it can be trusted. It doesn’t matter if you are an computer store, online fruit stand or candy shop. We need to know that our money is being put in good hands and that we will get exactly what we are after. So you might ask “How can I create confidence in my customers?”. While this can be complex at times and you are not going to win everyone over, there are some things that you can do. Here are some tips that will help you out.
1. The first tip is to offer an faq section on your website. This will allow users to address any concerns they might have and see what problems might be faced when using your product(or better yet what solutions you offer to help them).
2. The next tip is to offer testimonials so that potential customers can see that others have used your product and that it has worked for them. It also shows that people were happy with your service and instills belief in them.
3. Another tip is to offer online support and make sure someone is there for them. Whether it be support via online chat, forum or email, make sure someone is there to help them. This will make them feel that you care and that someone is truly there to help them out.
4. Now the next tip is maybe the most important. To all of your customers offer a money back guarantee. Whether it be 7 days, 14 days or 30 days, let them know that they won’t be stuck with something they don’t like. This may not be possible for every business such as a fruit stand but, if you can offer it you should. It will give them a free will to try you out.
Finally make sure they know that you are willing to go the extra mile for them. Show them even before they purchase anything from you that they are important. Talk to them and calm their fears so that they can begin to trust you. If you offer great help before they purchase from you then they will believe you will offer even greater help after they go with your company!

A very easy way to get more people to your site and also more interested in what you offer is to start your own online contest. It is something that is very easy to do. You probably can even get other companies to become sponsors in return for posting their logo and link to their website on your contest page. This will also help you bring in more viewers but if you get sponsors you will now have a wider selection of prizes to offer. Also see if the sponsor will post the contest link on their site as well.
It is actually an interesting thing that many other sites don’t do it. Not only is it a good way to increase the amount of visitors to your website but it also rewards people for coming to your website. Running multiple contests every so often will keep visitors interested and coming back to visit your website to see if there are any new contests going on. It can help build your whole site up or specific part like your forum.
Not only will people come back to your site but after they enter into the contest they will tell other people about it so that they can enter as well. Then those people tell their friends and then they tell their friends and so on. So you can see how it can spread out. Also while visiting your website to enter the contest they will browse around to see what you are offering. This can lead to increased sales as well as an increase in the number of people who sign up on your forum and newsletter.
Prizes can range from cash prizes or to virtual products such as software, web design packages or web hosting packages. When you start your contest be sure to set a cut off date for entries, limit number of entries allowed and when the draw date will help. Have them either email you with a certain line in the subject header or enter via web form online. Then take all of the names and set them up so you can draw randomly(such as putting them in a hat). Then choose what prize you are drawing for and pull out a name.
So as you can see the benefits of a contest are not only for your site but for your visitors too. They will love you for it and will keep coming back for more. Plus it is easy and fun to do, so why not!

More and more online businesses and internet marketers are recognizing the tremendous benefits and responsiveness that multimedia generates when used as an advertising medium and marketing strategy.
For those that utilize multimedia effectively, significant increases in buy rates, conversion rates and subscription rates have been experienced and all within a very short period of time. However, many believe that just adding any old media content, such as video and audio onto their website will generate significant increases in visitor responsiveness regardless of content presentation, quality, and other attributes that contribute to a positive experience for the website visitor. Just so that we are clear, this assertion is very wrong and can have potentially negative consequences from a marketing and/or advertising standpoint.
My philosophy is quite simple. Using multimedia to advertise your product or service needs to follow the same basic rules and principles as would apply to any other strategy or medium that can be used to convert prospects into subscribers and buyers. Yes, multimedia does improve conversion rates but it has to be done right and convey professionalism. This is absolutely essential.
When it comes to video and audio content online, what’s often been the case is that those who have tried to add this type of media content to their websites have unfortunately had disastrous results. For example, with video content, many have added videos to their webpages that are of extremely poor quality, small and ugly. The overall experience for the viewer - Poor. One of the biggest problems has been the fact that the videos load very slowly. Visitors are turned off completely by the fact that they have to wait for minutes, even longer sometimes in order for the video or audio file to start playing. This, unfortunately, is a result of these webmasters using cookie-cutter solutions to add video or audio content to their site without really knowing the implications and limitations. As I said, with multimedia…either do it right or don’t do it at all. For those who do their research and take a little time to produce video and audio content that is of good quality, the results have been tremendous.
Bottom Line: If you want to capture the attention of your visitors, you need to use top notch technology to bring your message to that person and provides the viewer with a positive experience.
If you do plan on adding video and audio content to your website, here are a few simple guidelines to follow when determining what the best multimedia solution is for you:
1. Cost Effective: You need a solution that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and leaves you with great video and/or audio content on your website but flat broke.
2. Fast loading Media Content (Video/Audio) that can play almost immediately. Website visitors are fickle and inpatient so its not wise to keep them waiting when trying to view your video advertisement or listen to your audio message.
3. Superior Website Integration: Video and Audio Content that can appear to be seamlessly Integrated into your websites and emails. Viewers don’t have to view video and audio ads with media player’s that annoyingly pop-up on top of their internet browsers and distract them from the rest of your website.
4. Superior Customization: Video and Audio Advertisements that can be customized for your websites and emails based on your specific requirements.
5. The ability to handle a large volume of simultaneous visitors.
6. Large-Scale Playability: Viewing/Listening DOES NOT require the download of additional plug-ins. Don’t make your visitors have to download any special software to view or listen to the video and audio content on your website.
7. The media content needs to be of reasonably good quality and resolution. Don’t worry, you don’t need Lord of the Rings quality to provide your website visitors with a positive experience. They won’t expect perfect quality but you need to make sure that the content is of good quality.
Of course, we can get into specific details about each one of these things but we won’t get into that in this article. These are just high-level, general guidelines that you can follow when shopping around for a good multimedia solution for your business.
Multimedia does have impressive results from a marketing perspective. That’s why the big companies and brand names are utilizing multimedia content to sell their products and services. However, not everyone has the exact same budget and requirements and if you are looking for a multimedia solution you need to spend some time shopping around to find a solution that offers the best bang for the buck.

Bottom Line: If your website and emails are silent, you’re leaving money on the table! Its that simple.
More and more online marketers and business owners are seeing the light and recognizing the tremendous benefits of incorporating multimedia into their online marketing strategy. It’s a proven fact that multimedia more easily and effectively captivates your audience and grab’s the attention of your prospects, visitors, subscribers and customers. Time and time again research has shown that using multimedia in the form of video and/or audio advertisements increases conversation rates, buy rates as well as subscription rates for a product or service.
If studies consistently show the advantage of incorporating multimedia into your online marketing campaign, then those who have not yet added multimedia to their advertising need to seriously rethink and reinvent their marketing strategy.
“As traditional banner ads continue to decline in their effectiveness…leading companies..[will turn] to streaming media to juice up their online advertising. These initial trials are just the beginning of what industry experts believe will be a huge market…Streaming media has a 70% response rate for content, a 60% response rate for advertising information, and a 49% “buy” rate for online merchandise. (Source: Hostcentric Streaming Media: Industry Outlook).”
When you look at the above statistics put together by leading authorities, can you really afford not to jump at the chance to use Multimedia as an advertising strategy?
Look at it this way, without Video and/or Audio your site appears static to the visitor and after seeing hundreds of these types of sites, your customer becomes desensitized which is why sales conversion rates have systematically dropped over the last couple of years all over the Internet.
Savvy Internet Marketers know this and have already seen the light. You’ll notice that many of these “Gurus” are lending voice to their sales copy in an effort to increase their conversion rate and many have incorporated video into their marketing. In essence, they are re-inventing themselves, recognizing the tremendous power and benefits inherent in multimedia and using it to captivate their intended audience and to convert prospects into subscribers and customers.
Think about it…you can convince your prospect to buy your product or service or subscribe to your ezine or newsletter much more easily with a 3 minute video as opposed to a long winded sales page that doesn’t convey your passion for your product, service or publication. The human voice has the power to influence, motivate, and persuade prospects to take action with much less resistence and reluctance.
These days there are scams all over the Internet and as a result people are very skeptical of many sites and ultimately the “online” business owners behind these websites. By using multimedia in the form of video and audio messages, you leave visitors with the impression that you are a “real” business and someone they CAN trust.
By using multimedia, you can also communicate better with people, specifically prospective customers, allowing you to get your point across much easier which all leads to one end result- MORE SALES!
There are many others benefits to speak of which include the following:
1. Explain selling-points much more easily and clearly to captivate your potential buyer.
2. Describe your product or service and the benefits of using it clearly and concisely.
3. Video and Audio conveys PROFESSIONALISM and most importantly it provides you with something that is essential in any business- CREDIBILITY. With credibility, you can sell more of your product or service, build that sacred opt-in list much more quickly and convince visitors to click on a link to an affiliate program you are advertising.
Therefore, as an increasing number of online business owners and marketers recognize the competitive advantages of multimedia and its power as a communication vehicle, multimedia content will become an integral part of the web experience.
Again, the question asked is “Why do I need Video and Audio on my Website?”
The simple answer: Multimedia is quickly becoming a necessity to the sustainability and future of online businesses. Very soon, all online business owners and marketers without exception will need to incorporate multimedia into their marketing strategies to maintain the continued existence of their online presence.
Do advertisers on TV try to sell you their products and services by using written text?
I rest my case.

Whether you are looking for fun shoes for the spring or summer or are heading for a warm vacation and in need of vacation apparel for your feet, we have two words for you: flip flops. They are the perfect traveling shoe. They are comfortable, cool and versatile as you can wear them with jeans, capris, shorts or a dress depending on their color or embellishments.
We have found that, no matter what your hobby, outfit or interests, there is a flip flop out there waiting for you. By surfing the web, we found themed flip flops with such themes as nautical, musical, floral or whimsical. You can find flip flops for your favorite professional or college sports teams. Basically if you can imagine it, you can find it.
The beauty of flip flops is that they are lightweight and don’t take up a lot of space, so you can pack two or three pairs and not take up any more room than one pair of shoes. If you pack a neutral color such as white or black or if you have a pair with a variety of colors such as colored buttons or ribbon you might only have to take one pair of flip flops on your trip, leaving room in your suitcase for more clothes or more souvenirs.
If you have searched the web, but still haven’t found the flip flops of your dreams, you can buy embellishments to make your own decorated flip flops. You can buy a flip clip that clips on the strap of your flip flops and that way you can move it from flip flop to flip flop as you change shoes. Many craft stores now have a small section of flip flop embellishments since flip flops are so popular now. You can decorate your flip flops with buttons, feathers, ribbon, jewels, seashells and more. Most of the embellishments come with easy instructions so that even the most craft challenged person can decorate their flip flops with little to know problems.
Flip flops come in different heights from very flat to platforms. Many name brands have hopped on the flip flop band wagon including Sketchers, Old Navy and other designer brands. They also come in different price points from 99 cents to over $300 depending on your taste and pocketbook. So whether you are traveling to the mountains, the beach or just heading to the mall or a casual day at work, there is a flip flop just waiting for you.

It is never too early to teach your children about the value of saving and giving money. If you start when they are young, they will always have the practice of saving money, budgeting and giving to charity. No matter what their age from two years old to teenagers, there are some basic things that you can do to encourage them to do this.
Start by buying your child three piggy banks. If they are young, get them to help you pick one out. If they are older, you can help them make a bank or take them to a paint your own pottery place to decorate them. Label one bank save, one spend and one give. You should also open a bank account for them so that they can periodically deposit the “save” money into their account as well as larger gifts of money and they can watch their bank account grow.
Each time they get an allowance, you should help them break the money into three groups. You can do this however you want to such as breaking it into thirds or putting 10% in give, 40% in save and 50% in spend. As they get older, they can help determine how the money will be divided.
For the “give” bank, have your child help choose where they want to donate the money. They might choose church. If they love animals, they could give the money to a local animal shelter or use it to purchase food for the shelter. They could buy diapers for an agency that helps new Moms or food for a homeless shelter. Sometimes using the money to buy material items to donate helps children better understand how important their money is to different organizations and exactly how they have helped someone.
The “save” bank can also be broken into long term and short term saving. Some of the money could be saved for college or a car when they are older. However, it is also fun to have them save money for an item that they really want such as an article of clothing or a toy. This teaches them the importance of budgeting money. If there is something that they really want, they might choose to put more money in the “save” bank and less in the “spend” bank. They might also just choose to not use the “spend” money for a few weeks until they spend it on what the really want.
However you choose to spend, save or give, make it a family affair and make it fun for your children. Include them in all the decision making since it is their money, but don’t forget that you are the parent and you have the final say if they are not saving or giving wisely. If you can start them on the spend, save, give process at a young age, it will be a habit and value that they will carry with them into adulthood and one that they can pass onto their children.

Whether you have found the perfect pair of shoes, the perfect car or the perfect vacation, there is a way that you can fit these items into your budget. It doesn’t take an extra job or even an extreme lifestyle change. All it requires is a little will power and patience.
The first thing that you need to do is to figure out how much money you need for what you want to buy. Then you need to figure out a time frame for when you want to make the purchase. For lesser expensive, you will probably be able to have a shorter time frame whereas a car or vacation might fit more on a one or two year plan depending on how much they cost.
Let’s start on a smaller scale like a new pair of shoes. Say you went to the mall and found an awesome new pair of designer sandals that cost about $100. You know that they won’t be around for a long time, so you need to come up with that money in about one month. If you would normally pay an average of $35 for a pair of shoes you can subtract that amount from the $100 because that is already in your budget. This means you have to come up with just $65 in four weeks. This is about $16 each week. That is a manageable amount of money when you break it down like that.
It is time to start saving. What can you cut out of your life for a short period of time in order to save money? Do you go out to lunch every day for work? If so, you probably spend about $5-$10 per day for lunch. If you would buy bread, chips and fruit at the grocery store, you could pack your lunch for the week which would actually save you about $25-$30 in just one week. Take a cup of coffee from home and avoid the lattes for a week and you will save about $20 per week. Pretty easy?! And, once you make your purchase you can either go back to your old ways. Or, you might decide that cutting back on some things to buy something that you want was really worth it.
Larger priced items can be saved for in a similar manner. For instance, if you want to take a cruise and you know that it costs about $2400 for everything. That is $200 per month for one year or $50 per week. What can you cut out of your weekly schedule to come up with $50?
There are other ways that you can save money without having to take an extra job. Buy a large piggy bank or jar and put all your change in it at the end of everyday. Sell items on an online auction. Have a yard sale. Eat at home on the weekends instead of going to a restaurant. Buy store brand products and use coupons. Have $5 or $10 per pay period taken out of your check and put in a special savings account. If you can have the patience and will power to do these and other money saving things then you will be wearing those new shoes, driving a car or going on vacation in no time.

Whether you own the car of your dreams or you simply dream about owning the car of your dreams, joining a car club related to that particular car is a must. We have found that car clubs are a great way to network, meet others with similar interests and to get deals on cars and accessories.
Many people think that car clubs are simply for those people who want or have a tricked out ride with all the chrome their car can hold. This is definitely not true. From searching car clubs and information about car clubs, we found clubs available for anything from lowriders, monster trucks and motorcycles to luxury and high end vehicles. It seems that car clubs carry a stigma to be more for teenagers dreaming of owning a tricked out ride whereas they are really for anyone of any age who has a love of cars.
What do you get when you join a car club? This varies from club to club, but we have found a few things that are more prevelant. Many of the clubs have a monthly newsletter that will notify you of new products and accessories, cars for sale and upcoming car events. There is also gear that you can buy related to that car including t-shirts, hats, key chains, travel mugs and water bottles. You typically get a discount on these items if you belong to these clubs. If the club has a website, you can join the forum to share information about things you have done to your car as well as solicit advice from others.
If you are a car collector or are planning to purchase a car, car clubs can also help you find good deals. We know of one man who is a member of the S2000 club. After graduating from college, he decided to downsize in cars for a couple of years. Now that he owns his own business, he wanted to purchase another S2000. Through people he met at the car club he was able to find an awesome deal on a used one.
Car club memberships also make great gifts for the people we know who have everything. We have done this for a father-in-law who just purchased a Mini Cooper and a cousin who is into Lowriders. They both loved the gift and enjoy getting the newsletters and buying car gear for themselves.
So, whether you are driving a luxury car or cruising in your tricked out Honda, there is a car club just waiting for you. You can join for a small fee, but the perks, discounts and networking make it all well worth it. If, on the off chance, you can’t find a car club that fits your needs, consider starting your own. Chances are there are others out there who would love to join the club and swap car tips and information with each other.

As you are gearing up for a new boating season, there is some important gear that you need to take with you to help you be prepared for anything. Before you head out to the water, there are some things that are a must to have with you and some tips that you can follow so that you can enjoy your time on the water.
The first tip is to waterproof items. While this might seem like an obvious thing because you are going out on the water after all, many people think that just because they have everything packed in a bag or stored below that it will be safe from the water. This is not always so. For this reason, you should put anything that you don’t want to be wet in a zip lock bag and carry an extra box of zip lock bags in your boat. Label you bags so you can reuse them. For instance, you might have one for your wallet, one for jewelry and one for magazines and books. If you are planning to stop at a restaurant and will need to change clothes, put your clothing in a waterproof bag as well.
Bring along small trash bags and secure them in your boat. You can fill them up easily with snack bags, cans and cups. This helps keep your boat clean and prevents you from accidently dropping something in the water. When you are done with your day on the water, there are typically trashcans close to the docks and ramps where you can dispose of your trash.
Drinks and snacks are essential to keep onboard your boat. Even if you are not a water drinker, you should keep a container or cold water on your boat and drink about 6 oz every hour to avoid dehydration. Even if you are drinking other beverages, nothing keeps you more hydrated with water. Snacks are important to carry you through to your next meal, especially if you decide that you would like to enjoy just one or two more hours on the boat before heading in.
Bring along games, such as cards and board games. If you have a place to go below on your boat, you might want to get out of the sun or the rain for a bit. Keep reading materials down there as well.
It is a good idea to keep a walkie talkie or some sort of emergency gear onboard to call for help if need be. Even if you own a cell phone, if you are in a remote area it might not work. Keep a waterproof map of the area onboard, flashlights, a flair, extra rope, small tool kit and first aid kit. Hopefully you will never need to use any of these things, but you will be prepared if the need arises.
These are just a few suggestions of what you should take with you when boating. If you are out on the water and think of something useful, write it down and put it onboard the boat as soon as you get home so you will be ready for your next trip. The best way to enjoy your time on the water is to be safe and be prepared for anything.

No matter what the season, we all dream about having a home with a lush, green lawn, colorful flowers and landscaping that looks like it was planted by a professional gardener. The reality is that a lot of us have lawns with a few brown patches and a few plants here and there. Who has the money to have a professional landscaping company come to your home and treat your yards to a spa treatment?
With all the home improvement stores and large discount department stores such as Lowes and Wal-Mart, having a beautiful yard does not mean draining your bank account to do so. In fact, there really is no excuse for not having a yard you can be proud of. There are some simple, affordable landscaping things that anyone can do to add to the curb appeal of their home.
Of course, I’m not talking about laying sod and planting 25 foot trees. But what I am talking about is starting simple and adding to your landscape each year. Buy some plants that will return every year and a few flowers that won’t so that each year you will have some basics to start with but you can change the look if you want to just by changing the colors of the flowers.
Buy smaller trees. If you plant 4 foot trees, they will eventually get to the size that you want them to be. Sure, it might take a couple of extra years than if you would have planted a 15 foot tree but you will have spent significantly less. Probably over $100 less, which means you can buy 2 or 3 trees and some bushes or plants instead of just one big tree.
Plant flowers in key points in your yard such as around the mailbox, along the front walk and in front of the house. A clematis or mandevilla that can climb up your mailbox all summer long can provide stunning flowers for around $5. The wave petunia truly grows faster and can provide beautiful color on your front steps or on pots on your side porch. When planting flowers and plants together, make sure you always plant the tallest plants in the back. Although this seems like an obvious tip you would be surprised who often this doesn’t happen.
Plant flowers that will bloom at different times throughout the year such as Tulip and Daffodil bulbs for the spring, Impatiens in the summer and Mums in the fall. There will be color and interest in your yard throughout the year and all of those flowers are very affordable.
In addition to planting things, take the time to treat your yard to some weed and feed in early spring and in the fall. A treated lawn is a healthy lawn which means lush grass and fewer weeds.
It doesn’t take a lot of money or time to add curb appeal to your home with these simple landscaping tips. When you are done, your neighbors will probably wonder who came to your house and planted all those beautiful flowers, trees and plants for you. We won’t tell if you won’t!

Going on a long car trip with your children can be challenging no matter what their age. Young children and older children have trouble sitting still for long periods of time and can become bored, cranky, irritated among other things. The trick to help prevent this from happening is to prepare well in advance and be a step ahead of them.
The first thing you need to do is throw away the tight schedule of how long you think the trip should take. For instance, a seven hour trip to the beach is no longer going to take seven hours. You can expect it to take nine to ten hours depending on your child’s age. Babies need to eat on a certain schedule, toddlers need to stretch their legs and children who are just learning to go to the bathroom on the potty need more trips to the potty. Be prepared to stop and just add that into the time. Look for malls, Target stores or other places that you can stop along the way where children can run and use the rest room.
Pack plenty of snacks and drinks. If you know that your toddler likes a mid-morning juice or an afternoon snack, you can potentially avoid having to stop for these things if you keep them at hand. If you are just 30 minutes from your destination and they are getting hungry for dinner, a small snack can hold them off until you check into your hotel or park the camper.
If you have a DVD player in your car, take along their favorite movies, the ones that you know will hold their attention. If you take trips on a regular basis, you might want to consider purchasing a DVD player for your car. You can also buy a new DVD for the road, but come prepared with others that they like just in case they aren’t thrilled with the new DVD.
If it is a trip that will take over 12 hours, consider dividing the trip into two days. Perhaps you can leave in the afternoon, stop for dinner and get a few more hours of driving time in while they sleep. You can wake up the next morning, refreshed and ready to take on the hours of travel that you have left. If you can get up in the morning, jump out of bed and walk out the door, you can get a couple of hours of driving in before you stop for breakfast.
Bring along books, magazines, toys and car games to occupy time. Older children can play games such as the license plate game where they try to find a license plate from all 50 states. Make the toys accessible so you can easily swap them out.
The best way to make it through a car trip with children is to be prepared, be patient and be flexible. Turn the trip into an adventure and part of the vacation itself. Stop at attractions along the way. Take time to let everyone stretch their legs. Bring along plenty of things to occupy their time. If you can follow all of these tips it is sure to be a more pleasant trip for everyone.

With boating season about to get into full swing, it is time to think about packing up your gear and your family and heading to the lake. Going out on the boat with your family can be a fun experience that can create many happy childhood memories for your children. Growing up on the water is an experience that not all children get to have. There are some things that you can do to help add to the experience.
The first thing that you need to do is to pick a boating destination. Children enjoy riding on the boat, but they also will not want to ride around endlessly all day. They need something to look forward to. If you are a family that enjoys skiing, then board your boat and take a scenic cruise to the best skiing spot on the lake. If your children like to be pulled on a float, then make your way to calmer waters where they can enjoy being pulled on the float without having to worry about other boats. If sunbathing is a priority, then a calm inlet where you can tie floats to the boat and be lazy in the water is a perfect spot. We have an island close to us where there is a beach volley ball court and a water volley ball court set up in shallow water. This seems to be the spot for the teenagers to congregate and parents to relax together. Younger children might enjoy a nature cruise, looking for turtles, fish and flowers.
Pack plenty of food and drinks for your family. If you have a teenage son who eats and eats and eats, then have snacks available for him. A picnic lunch on the water or on the beach of an island are both good ideas. If you have access to a restaurant on the water, then take advantage of an hour out of the sun and in the air conditioning to fuel up for more water fun.
Take along games such as cards or a favorite board game. If your children need a break from being in the water, they can play a game on deck or down below. The children can play games inside the boat while you ride around leisurely, which works for both of you.
Have fun making memories with your family on the water. Whether you are swimming, skiing or relaxing in the water or on the boat, enjoy the family time that boating together gives you. In this fast paced world, being out on the water, away from it all is a good time out for everyone.

The following are 10 simple yet very powerful ways to increase your sales significantly:
1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer. You could follow-up with a “thank you” email and include an advertisement for other products you sell. You could follow-up with them regularly. The goal is to begin building a relationship with your customers so you need to keep in constant contact with them.
2. You could upsell to your customers. When they’re at your order page, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order.
3. Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into three sales.
4. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will multiply the sale you just made.
5. Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. You could include an ad on or with the product for other products you sell. You could make sales for the reproduction rights and sales on the back end product.
6. You could cross promote your product with other businesses’ products in a package deal. You can include an ad or flyer for other products you sell and have other businesses selling for you.
7. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you.
8. Send your customers a catalog of add-on products for the original product they purchased. This could be upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they enjoy your product they will buy the extra add-ons.
9. Sell gift certificates for your products. You’ll make sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, when the recipient cashes it in. They could also buy other items from your web site.
10. Send your customers free products with their product package. The freebies should have your ad printed on them. It could be bumper stickers, ball caps, t-shirts etc. This will allow other people to see your ad and order.
There you go. The great thing about these powerful strategies is that you can implement them immediately. As I said, they are easy to start using but the outcome could be a substantial increase in your conversion and/or buy rate which is the ultimate goal. It is extremely important to make your customer and/or prospect feel special and to provide them with additional value-added items that will keep them coming back.

f I received a quarter for every time someone told me that it’s absolutely impossible to convert 30% of the subscribers on your list, I’d have an extra million dollars sitting in my bank account.
Well I’m here to tell you that it can be done ONLY by using a systematic approach to converting your list. How is this done, and is it difficult you ask?
Well if done correctly, it’s possible you may even convert more than 30 percent.
Using the traditional permisssions email marketing strategies that most internet marketers use simply isn’t good enough anymore.
People are getting pitched to for products that they’re not even interested in eventually they become decensitized to the offer. Yes, SPAM has hurt the email marketing industry but it hasn’t killed it…it’s simply forced some of us to develop alternative strategies to be successful.
In order to be successful, you simply need to create highly targeted sublists and then pitch them an offer they cannot refuse. Now, at this point you may be thinking it’s very difficult, however; it’s not, so let me show you exactly how you should do it.
Example: Let’s assume that my ideal leads/market are stock market traders/investors. He’re how I would set it up.
I would create a optin-page offering someone a unique and FRE~E ecourse or report which the website visitor needs to subscribe to receive. Now, asking them for an email address and first name IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH anymore, and this is where most marketers get it wrong. You need more information to know exactly who they are and what they’re interested in.
In this example, I would ask for the first name, email address, Trading Experience (drop down selection list which includes “beginner”, “intermediate” and “advanced” then, what do you trade (drop down list “Stock”, “Futures”,”Forex”) and Trading Style(drop down list “Swing”, “Day”,”investor”). by having them provide this info to you before subscribing you have now created a pre-qualified, laser targetted subscriber database list.
You know exactly who they are and what they would be interested in and that’s invaluable information when you’re trying to sell them a product. If you’re trying to sell them a Swing Trading producut for beginners, let’s say for example, you know exactly which subscribers on your list would be interested in your offer. When you go to send an email to that list, provided that you’re using a good autoresponder system, you can query your list and find only the people that fit that description and then send them an email with your offer….and since you’ve captured their email adress you can do this over and over and over again.
You conversion with skyrocket!..particularly if you first cultivate a good relationship with that list by providing good quality content/information which is very important, in other words, don’t try to sell to them immediately, first offer them quality information and PLEASE, when you recommend a product, make sure you’ve tried it yourself before recommending it. To me, anyone that recommends a product they haven’t tried themselves is unethical, so don’t do this. Be helpful and honest to your subscribers and they’ll reward you for it.
As I already mentioned, your conversion percentage will increase dramatically simply by pre-qualifying and cultivating your subscriber before offering a product to them, however; if you really want to absolutely skyrocket your conversion you have to structure your product offer to subscribers using a a very unique and systematic approach which I’ve perfected over the last couple of years…
..and these are the same advanced conversion strategies I talk about in my in my coaching program over at http://www.theintelligentmarketer.com where I’ll show you how to launch a product with the force of an atom bomb and make 30 times more sales than you normally would.

Without a doubt, if you asked me, Shane if there was only 1 marketing strategy that you could use on the Internet, what would it be? Without hesitation I would say joint Ventures. Joint Ventures are easily the most lucrative Marketing Strategy ever invented and if you learn to do it right, will likely be the ONLY marketing strategy you will ever need to use.
A Good Internet Joint Venture is your shortcut to success. It can send you more qualified internet traffic rushing to your site in the shortest amount of time than anything I’ve ever seen! And it can mean bringing your product to market without spending one single penny of your own money!
In it’s simplest form, Joint Ventures have to do with 2 businesses (or more) joining forces to leverage off of each others success, assets and/or expertise. There are hundreds of different variations but let me just give you one simple example:
One variation of a simple type of joint venture partnership used most frequently would be where one business provides a product for sale, the sales message and the product delivery while the other business provides the recommendation for that product to their own list of subscribers/prospects and receiving a commission based on the sales generated through that recommendation.
The benefits are great. You can build your subscriber list, leverage off of your partners infrastructure like using their existing servers, software etc where you don’t have to pay a dime. If you pick the right JV partner, you can acquire instant credibility and reputation with their customers and lists. Credibility sells. Let me give you an example, if you created a book on “how to acquire real estate”, you could certainly make MANY more sales if you JV’d with Donald Trump and put his name on the book as the co-author, building your reputation and increasing your credibility at the same time. Are you starting to see the incredible power of this strategy?
Now I know that some people may think that Joint Ventures are difficult to do,but if they are telling you this, then I wouldn’t take anything they tell you at face value because they’re either lying to you or don’t understand it themselves.
Let me show you how easy it is. Here’s typically what I do when rolling out a new product. In this example, let’s pretend that I just completed a new ebook on Penny Stock Trading and have setup a web site with an affiliate program. I would go to google, do a search on keywords like “penny stock”, “penny stock trading”, “stock market strategies” etc..you get the picture. The top sites on the first page are typically your target partners because since they appear on the first page you can bet they have lots of business, traffic, subscribers and customers. I would visit each site to make sure that they are right for my product and then I would first send them a very brief email asking them if they would be interested in marketing my product in exchange for a high commission as an incentive.
Typically in this email you should briefly introduce yourself and your product. Describe your product and the benefits it would offer to their Newsletter subscribers, customers and/or web site visitors. Ask them politely if they wouldn’t mind responding to you asap and provide your contact information if they are interested in marketing your product. Also very important, you need to give them access to this product FOR FREE!..so that they can review the product and feel comfortable about endorsing it. These site owners have spent years building thei |
