While improving your blog may seem like a daunting task, I will show you 6 easy tips that will improve your blog in no time at all. These are just a few of many that can accomplish this task, but are ones that I use to improve my blogs and they will work over and over again.
Comment at related blogs – This is probably the biggest thing you can do to improve and promote your blog. It is very simple. Just make comments on other blogs that are related to yours. When you make a comment, it is standard to leave your name and URL. If you leave a relevant comment, maybe even with some free advice, other readers will visit your blog to see what you are all about.
Write a weekly “best of” post – It is fairly simple to do. Make a weekly post that spotlights the best posts that you have read on other peoples blogs. By linking directly to the post, you create trackback links on other blogs and this will result in new readers to your blog. This is sort of works like a backwards blog comment.
Be sure to link – A very important persona of your blog is the links that you provide. The more link outs you have the more your readers perceive it as more authoritative and valuable. It also shows that you are not trying to hide something and also show that you put credit where credit is due.
Improve your blog’s look – Why use the same templates and designs that many other blogs are using? Use a design that is totally different than everyone else and people will remember “that cool looking blog” that they had seen earlier and come back to it. If you can not find a unique template or don’t know how to change your design, consider outsourcing to have it done.
Know your readers – Just because you have a blog, don’t put yourself on a pedestal above everyone else. Get to know your visitors by responding to their comments, become friends with them and in return they will spread the word about you and your blog.
Create reader friendly content – Make sure that your content speaks to all of your potential audience. Make it entertaining and interesting for all to read. You want your content to be shared, if it reads like a tech manual, readers are going to give up on it let alone share it.
Remember that blogging is supposed to be fun, for you and your readers. I hope this will help you improve your blog and take it to the next level.

Article marketing essentially means writing keyword-rich articles for promotion of your website and to put it up on article directories, online journals and publications, newsletters and such other places where they can be easily seen by Internet users. A link of the author’s website is known as the back link is provided below the article, where the Internet user may visit after reading the article. Thus, article marketing is a method of advertising the website. People who have websites that are conducting some sort of business or the other are always on the lookout to promote their websites in more and more profitable ways. For this reason, there is always a great demand for article marketing among website owners. It is not difficult to market your website through articles; and this is a starting instruction guide for you how to go about it if you need. (i) Decide the topic and the keyword to write on A good marketing article is always keyword-rich. That means, it should have the words that Internet users often search for. These words, known as keywords, must occur several times in the article. This is how the article will show up on the search engines like Google. The choice of the keyword must be made judiciously. Here, tools like Overture can help. Overture can make suggestions on what word combinations people are generally searching for more frequently on the Internet. Make your choice of the most popular word string and use that in your article profusely. Google Suggest is another place where you can find how many people are searching for particular keywords. Quite obviously, the topic of the article should pertain to your website. At least, there must be some common strand. But remember that whatever the topic, use the keyword which is searched more popularly. That, and only that, can ensure better ranking of your article on the search engine pages. (ii) Have the article written If you have writing skills, you can write the article yourself. It is best you write it yourself since you will know your website the best. Otherwise, you could get good ghostwriters from freelance web sites. Whether you write the article yourself or have it ghostwritten, it must go on the article directory in your name, and you must make sure it is copyrighted to only you. You can check for plagiarism with the copyscape.com. (iii) Submit your article When you have the article, you should not waste time in submitting it on the Internet. Article directories are the best place to put up your articles. You must submit your articles regularly to get good traffic. Initially, two to three articles a week is okay, but that helps nowhere if you want to gain visibility. Some websites may put up as many as hundred articles a week on different directories. You can also ask online publications if they will be interested in your articles, with a link to your website placed below it. Most chances are they will agree, because they are always on the lookout for content on their websites. These are some of the steps to help you begin. But there are many hidden tricks of the trade which you can learn only by experience, or by reading other ‘article marketing’ articles like this one.

If you like to blog MySpace is definitely the place for you then. With nearly over forty million members worldwide, it’s not being too simple to say that you will have a vast audience to entertain and communicate with through your informative blog. A “Blog” by the way, for those of you who don’t know it, is the shortened form for web logging. (Get it – weB LOG-ging!)
The first thing that you need to do therefore to be able to blog to your hearts content is to sign up for a MySpace account. It’s free so there’s not going to be any monthly charges or anything like that, and it’s relatively easy to navigate through the needs and requirements of the MySpace pages.
One you have set up your MySpace pages satisfactorily (i.e. changed and updated or edited your profile, changed and customized the background and the graphics, added photographs and videos etc.), you can then proceed to the fun part of creating your very own personal blog MySpace provides you the facilities for.
It also provides you with the ability to have a blogging group in which people whom you invite or who find your blog interesting can come along and read your blogs and comment on them. And if you’re really into blogging and you have a way with words which will draw a person into your blog MySpace members will be flocking to your pages and you might find your group of friends on MySpace expanding.
Having a blog also gives you the ability to put your artistic talents to the fore as you can even write small novellas if you want, which you can then blog about in another post with your particular group of blog MySpace friends!
Or you could just use your blog MySpace provides, to take people through an animated discourse about your day, and your life in general. Having a blog also gives you the ability to put your artistic talents to the fore as you can even write small novellas if you want, which you can then blog about in another post with your particular group of blog MySpace friends! If however you want people to keep coming back to it, you will want to make it interesting to other people, if not informative. Creating a blog just to blow steam off at the end of the day, or to snipe and gripe about your boss and your coworkers just won’t cut it.
You will find that you have more adverse comments about your blog, than good comments. You will also find that word spreads and a lot of people will boycott your blogs. Another thing that you should also be aware of, is that with such a large amount of people on the MySpace pages, that you might bump into your coworkers or even your boss.
And if you’re using the blog MySpace provides to vent your displeasure about these people, you could find yourself with no friends whatsoever. So keep your blogs friendly, clean and most of all interesting.

In April of this year Mike Bradbury and SEO Analyst for Object ware, Inc summed up nicely the benefits of article marketing
“1.) Get your name out there as an expert
2.) Get traffic from links within your article
3.) Increase your search engine link popularity
in all three cases; the more highly distributed your article, the higher the likelihood of your articles achieving each goal.”
And a major part of achieving that goal is preparing your articles the right way before you submit them to an article directory.
1. The Why
Many writers get mixed up on why they are writing the article. Yes they want internet traffic and the ability to generate targeted business leads but that is not why they are writing the article. The number one reason is to provide your readers with useful valuable information. That is also what article publishers want. If you can provide quality content, publishers will reward you by introducing your articles to their audience. New eyes equal more potential site traffic to your web pages. People come online for information. They also want to know how your content will be useful to them.
2. The Targeted Advertising Potential
I do not mean that your article reads like one long sales letter. That is a recipe for failure with readers and it probably won’t even get that far since in all likelihood most article publishers will be sending you a rejection email. What we are talking about is putting together a solid 3 to 5 sentence resource box with your web site link that gets you the clicks.
Your resource box should continue the theme you established in your article which is how will this information benefit the reader? Pose a question and then tell a person why clicking on your web site link is their best option or list of series of benefits. The point is to entice your readers with just enough information to compel them to learn more. Include your name and a very brief description of yourself. Also test your web site link to make sure it is working and pointing to the desired page. Use related keyword search terms to create anchor links in your resource box. Doing the correct keyword research for your topic means more web site traffic. Do the same with your article but do not overdo it. Keyword stuffing is a red flag to many search engines as well as article publishers.
3. The Polish
Not all publishers will accept your articles. It may be due to stringent guidelines or a backlog of articles they have yet to review. But all it takes is one article directory to accept your article and expose it to a large readership. For this reason make sure your article is polished. Check for grammar or spelling mistakes. Due some ruthless editing and throw out what you do not need. Break large paragraphs into smaller ones which are easier on the eyes. Make sure there is a good flow to your article from start to finish. Keep it tight and targeted.
The internet is growing and changing rapidly but article writing is not going anywhere. In fact the more the internet grows the more unique quality content will be needed. Just remember to answer the why, utilize the targeted advertising (and monetary) potential of your resource box, polish your article to a professional looking tightly focused piece of work and the full benefits of article marketing will start coming your way.

First off all let’s define what is a link exchange? A link exchange Internet marketing campaign is the process of exchanging hyperlinks with a quality site that is somehow related to a company’s product or service.
It is easy to get link exchange partners when you have a website that is getting allot of traffic and has a high page rank with Google. What proves to be a little harder is getting a quality link partner to link with your site when you have little or no page rank and little or no traffic.
I have found that giving incentives will help get the link exchanges flowing and as your page rank increases so will links with websites that have a higher page rank.
Here are 20 things you can do to get people to link to your website.
1. When you visit a web site you’ve enjoyed a lot, write a review for the site. Write about the benefits you gain from the web site. Tell them they can publish it on their web site if they link to your web site.
2. Market your web site as a free web book. Design your web site with a title page, table of contents, chapters, etc. Just allow other people to give away the web book by linking to your web site.
3. Offer other web sites free content to post on their web site. Include your link on all of your content. The content should relate to your web site because it will be in front of your target audience.
4. Allow other people to publish your e-zine on their web site. Include your web site’s ad and link in each issue you publish. This may also help you increase the number of people that subscribe to your e-zine.
5. Give your visitors an instant article directory. Tell your visitors they can instantly add a free article directory to their web site by linking to yours. Just place your ad or banner ad on top of the article directory for your main web site.
6. Start a member’s only web site. Tell visitors what’s in your member’s only site and what it costs to gain access. Offer them a free membership if, in exchange, they link to your web site.
7. Trade other forms of advertising to people that link to your web site. You could trade e-zine ads, print ads, autoresponder ads, classified ads, ebook ads, etc.
8. Allow other web sites to use your discussion board for their web site visitors. Just have them link directly to the discussion board. Include your web sites ad or banner ad at the top of the discussion board.
9. When you purchase a product and it exceeds your expectations e-mail the business a testimonial. Make sure your statement is detailed. Give them permission to publish it on their web site if they link to your site.
10. Offer your visitors a free sign up to your affiliate program. Pay them commission to sell your products or services. Just give them an affiliate link to track their sales. People will link to your web site to make extra money.
11. Give away web space to people for free. Since you are giving it away for free, request they link to your site by placing your ad or banner to the site.
12. Create your own award site for other web sites. Give the winners a graphic or text link to place on their web site when they win. This will link your web site to theirs and draw more traffic to your web site.
13. Create a directory of web sites on a specific topic. Give people the option of adding the directory to their web site by linking to it. Put your business ad at the top of the directory’s home page.
14. Offer a free e-book to your web site visitors. The ebook should be related to your target audience. Allow them to give the e-book to their own web site visitors by linking directly to your web site.
15. Are you an expert on a particular subject? Offer people free consulting via e-mail if, in exchange, they either link to your site. People will consider this a huge value because consulting fees can be very expensive.
16. Exchange content with other web sites. You could trade articles, top ten lists, etc. Both parties could include a resource box at the end of the content.
17. Create an online club or association. Tell your visitors what’s included in the membership and what it costs to join. Offer them a free membership if, in exchange, they link to your web site.
18. Allow people to use an online service or utilities from your web site if, in exchange, they link to your web site. The online service could be an e-mail account, search engine submission, web page design, copywriting, proofreading, etc.
19. Join or create a web ring. A web ring is a group of web sites on a similar subject agreeing to link together. To find a web ring to join type keywords “web rings” into your search engine of choice.
20. Allow people to download software at no charge from your web site, if they link to your web site. The software could be freeware, shareware or demos.
There is no doubt that getting quality link partners takes a lot of hard work. Many times the benefits are not obvious for months and months. Don’t stop with these 20 ways to get link exchanges. Come up with incentives of your own.
In the long run all of this effort is worth it. When your website is getting more free traffic, and is enjoying a position on page one with the major search engines for the keywords that define your website, you will be glad that you have done more than your competition to get quality link exchange partners.

So you want to join the blogging revolution and make tons of money by blogging. But you don’t know how to generate the cash. Well, today is your lucky day as I will tell you ways to make money by blogging.
Now remember not everybody that writes a blog does it for the money or should I say the potential to make money. But, also remember that not all blogs that are written to make money, do make money.
In this article I will present to you ways to make money by blogging. We will assume that all other aspects of the blog (name, traffic, content etc…) are good and now you want to monetize your blog and make some money.
AdSense – This is the most common way to make money on a blog. You set up your Adsense info, either banners or text ads, on your blog and your visitors click the ads that they are interested in. When they click, you make money. There are other programs besides Google’s AdSense, but they are by far the most popular.
Affiliate Programs – You can join millions of different affiliate programs, either individually or on a network. The easiest way is to join a network, like Commission Junction, and get the links and or banners from them. You can then place these affiliate ads in your side bar, in between posts or even woven into posts to make it look more natural.
Sell Ad Space – You can sell individual ads by the day, week, and month or even by the year, if you want. You can then place these affiliate ads in your side bar, in between posts or even woven into posts to make it look more natural. The amount you sell them for will probably be heavily weighted by your content and your traffic.
Pay to Post – A newer concept in blog advertising is the Pay to Post idea. This is where a company like PayPerPost.com will bring advertisers and bloggers together. An advertiser will put out an order for an ad on a certain type blog with so much traffic and the corresponding blogs will take the opportunity if they want it. When they do they will make a post on their blog and talk about what ever the advertisers wanted them to talk about. If the advertisers are satisfied with the post then you get paid. These posts can generate anywhere from $5 to $500!
Donations – I know you have seen these before on different blogs and websites. A small Pay Pal button that ask you to donate. The thing is these actually work. If your blog gives out great information and you don’t push people to buy stuff, they almost feel obligated to donate to you for helping them.
I hope that these ideas to generate money from your blog have helped you. While these might not be all the ways to make cash from your blog, it is certainly a good start for your blog. If you keep the multiple streams of income principle in mind for your blog, you will do well and make money by blogging.

I’ve picked up catalogs before where it seemed like the company who made it didn’t really care about marketing with it. This is a list of products and little else. The words they used in the product descriptions and the way they formatted the catalog suggests they had no interest in trying to sell anything.
This is something I have trouble understanding. The mere fact that a company would take all that time to design and implement a catalog, pay for the mass commercial printing, and yet send a finished product that fails to capitalize on a prime opportunity for marketing.
Every catalog needs to have the descriptions of the products written in such a way as to encourage people to buy. This isn’t just about describing what the product is, something a lot of companies seem to like to focus on. I need to feel some excitement in the product description. I need to be told that this is a great product, and guess what else, I should buy it now.
Tell people to act now. Say put in an order today, or give us a call as soon as possible. If the catalog has no sense of urgency than neither will I, and that means I might just forget all about the product before ever acting on it. But if the writing sounds important, sounds like you need to act now, people will understand and act quickly.
Next comes the layout. I’ve seen too many catalogs with nothing but a grid of boxes with products stuffed inside of them. It’s boring and does nothing to get my interest in anything being advertised. I often think that the companies have decided that they’re going to already be spending money on the commercial printing so they won’t spend as much on the design.
Put the best selling items first and give them some room to work. Fill up half a page with an item if you need to. If you know a product is popular than don’t try to reduce it down on the page to the same size as everything else. This is going to be one of the reasons why people will be looking through your catalog, so don’t hide away the popular items.
The same goes for the order information. So many times I see the contact information buried somewhere no one could possibly find, and all it does is lead to smaller sales. If I need to spend ten minutes searching through the catalog to figure out how to order something, I’m much more likely to just put the catalog down and stop wasting my time.
The catalog is meant to market your material. If you aren’t using it for that than you aren’t recognizing the full potential that the catalog has. Start turning your catalogs into a marketing engine and you’ll see those sales go up.

Google adsense is proving to be probably the number one method of making money on the internet.
Visit nearly any website today and you will see an array of Google Adsense ads being displayed.
But if you’re interested in displaying Google Adsense ads on your website how can you be sure that you are making the most return from your website visitors.
Let me tell you my five top tips to increase your Google Adsense income.
Tip one.
Use articles on your website that are of interest to your targeted market. Original articles written by yourself are best, however if you are not keen on writing why not look at obtaining some Private Label Rights articles. Most important issue here being to modify the articles extensively to make them original to you and not risk duplicated content issues.
Tip two.
Keep your web page layout simple and don’t include links to other products or services, which could distract your visitors from clicking on your Google Adsense ads. Remember this strategy is to increase your Adsense revenue, if you want to promote an affiliate product design a webpage with just your product links on and remove any adsense ads.
Tip three.
Design your Adsense ads to blend in with the background color of your webpage and also position them in the most profitable positions available. You can get a clear idea of this layout by clicking on my website link below.
Tip four.
Keep track of your visitors and the income they produce to your website, you can do this by creating a channel in the Google Adsense back office. Again remember, that if your website is not producing a decent income then you need to look at different subject matters, subjects of interest that people want to read more about and are willing to visit your website in order to read more.
Tip five.
Traffic generation is the real key to success and without visitors to your website you won’t make any money. This fifth tip is a complete subject on its own and I will be producing further articles on this subject which you will be able to read by visiting my website below.
I will be adding regular articles on all these subjects and more over the next few days and months so it really will be worth a visit to see what tips and ideas you can use to increase your Google Adsense income.

Auctions sites are a great way to promote your websites and sell any affiliate product. For example, Ebay, the largest online auction there is, will expose your websites and products to millions of people who use it on a daily basis. People from more than 100 countries use Ebay to either buy or sell products. Ever since its inception in 1995, Ebay had already hosted billions of different auctions and its rate is growing at an incredible 30% a year.
Every week, the site receives 2 billion views and it sells products in 7,800 different categories. Now, even for a traditional brick-and-mortar store, this range of products is impressive. 10 million people make it a point to visit this site at least once every week. Currently Ebay also has 192 registered users, with this kind of market, it is really no wonder that a lot of people decides to explore the potential in Ebay.
But before you start promoting your product and website using Ebay, should first make sure that you completely understand the site rules and regulation. For the most part, all you need to remember is that while Ebay allows you to have your own About Me Page and you can put your website link there, you are not actually allowed to offer your merchandize on that particular page.
For example, Ebay does not permit non-Ebay merchandize to be displayed in the About Me page as well as links to other online auction sites and trading pages. Of course, it is also quite apparent that Ebay would not allow you to link to a site that offers lower prices compared to the one on the site. Even fixed price trading websites cannot be displayed on the About Me page.
So with these kinds of restrictions, how can you effectively promote your website? Well, it previous sentence says it all; you can actually promote your website on Ebay as long as it is not linked within the trading page itself. In fact, you can even link to your individual internet store provided that it is not within other auction sites or the foxed price format. However, if the Ebay rules and regulation are not followed by the internet marketer, his About Me page can immediately be removed.
Aside from the About Me page, another trick you can utilize for promotion is the auction trick. Ebay’s policy actually allows sellers to link to a page that has more images of the actual product you are selling. By simply composing a clickable sentence, you can attract people to visit your website. For example, just saying “Click here to see more images of this antique”, any interested visitor will definitely click on that particular link. Once your prospect clicks on the link though, they should be able to view what they are actually looking for. You can have other links on that page though and if the buyer is interested, you might generate more sales.
The last trick you can use to promote your website in Ebay is the “more information trick”. It strategy mainly works just like the image trick because you are enticing the visitors to know more about the product either by letting them see images or through product descriptions.
For example, if you want to sell something very expensive in Ebay, it is recommended for you not to put everything together in the site all at once. What you can do is to put one or two of this particular product on Ebay and entice the interested buyer to click on a hyperlink for more information or for the story behind the product. Then, once they are at your website, you can put links to more photos and your product catalogues so the buyer will be able to know all the important aspects of your product. Of course, since they are already at your website, you should give these buyers an option to purchase directly from you.
<a href=”http://www.auction-words.com”>
<a href=”http://www.auction.reprintarticlesite.com”>
With all these benefits in mind, all online marketers cannot help but conclude that Ebay is indeed not only a tool to generate instant sales through negotiation and trading, it can also be used as an effective promotional tool as well.

Foreclosure rates have been skyrocketing across the country over the last 24 months. The reasons for foreclosure are varied. The most common reason for many of the foreclosures today is raising interest rates. Many homeowners choose to take adjustable rate mortgages (ARMS) instead of a traditional fixed rate loan. The interest rates on these loans are typically lower than standard mortgages for the first few years, after which the interest rate adjusts upwards, raising the monthly mortgage payment on the property. Many homeowners planned on refinancing their properties before the loans adjusted. Sadly, these homeowners found themselves unable to get new financing or that they are upside down in their homes and were unable to afford the rising mortgage payments. Other common reasons of foreclosure include catastrophic illness resulting in loss of income or large medical expenses, loss of employment and divorce.
When facing foreclosure, many homeowners don’t know where to turn or what to do. Most homeowners don’t realize that there are many alternatives to foreclosure. For instance, the type of mortgage you have may give you possible alternatives. Government loan programs like FHA and VA mortgages are a good example. Some states, like Nevada, have set up free resources to help homeowners who are facing foreclosure.
Saving your Property
Sometimes bad things happen to good people. It happens all the time. Not all homes that go into foreclosure are taken over by the bank. At times, depending on the circumstances, the lender may be willing to work with the homeowner to avoid foreclosing on the property. For example, if a homeowner is experiencing a temporary setback like the loss of employment, the lender may decide to work something out to allow the homeowner to make up the payments. The lender may allow the homeowner to start making monthly payments again adding in an additional payment to catch up on the payments they missed. An option is called forbearance. It is a formal agreement where the mortgage holder agrees to reduce or even suspend the monthly payments for a set time period. Once the time period is up, the homeowner would then resume the normal monthly payments and make additional payments to make up for prior amount due. There is one other option where the homeowner can no longer afford their current mortgage payment, regardless of the reason. In some cases, the mortgage holder may opt to modify the terms of the original loan. Loan modification is not that common and is up to the lender. A good example would the conversion of an adjustable rate mortgage to a fixed rate mortgage with a lower interest rate. There are many factors that the mortgage holder will take into account before granting a loan modification, but the biggest will be the amount of equity (if any) in the property and the ability of the homeowner to make the payments on the new loan. Of course there may be other mitigating circumstances that the mortgage holder will consider as well in granting a loan modification.
Selling the Property before Foreclosure
There is the final option to avoid foreclosure—the short sale. A short sale would be warranted if the homeowner owes more than the current market value of the property (otherwise you could simply sell the home and pay off the loan). Short sales have popped up in foreclosure heavy areas like California and Nevada, especially in the Las Vegas valley. Before putting the property up for sale, the homeowner must have the mortgage holder’s approval in order to short sale the house. It is very important that homeowner use an agent that has lots of short sale experience. The process is much more complicated than a regular home sale and could take several weeks to complete the sale. Once the home is listed, any offers on the property must be approved by the bank before the sale can be completed. Once the property is sold, the homeowner may still liable for the difference depending on state law (Nevada residents are still liable).
Talk to your Lender
The important thing is to talk to your lender before letting your mortgage run 90 days past due. The earlier you start talking to them, the better your chances to work something out for both parties. Most mortgage companies have their hands full, especially the larger institutions, thus making them more likely to try to work something out. When dealing with your mortgage company, make sure you document who you spoke to and what was agreed on. Once something is worked out, get it in writing. There are companies out there for a fee that will help you with the foreclosure process. Don’t waste your money. The advice they give you can be found for free online or through a non-profit. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Never sign anything without having a professional look it over first. The amount of fraud and scams has risen dramatically along with foreclosure rates and many homeowners have found themselves losing more than just their homes.

While Search Engine Optimization and Advertising are specific tasks to engage, Search Engine Marketing is the key component that actually determines how you will optimize and advertise on the web. It is the research, analysis, strategy planning that will determine the execution methods.
* SEO is the process of making changes to the HTML code of your web pages to be content rich in your specific niche and key phrase. This would include such tasks like modifications to your keywords, description, title tags, comment tags, alt descriptions, and title descriptions of anchors and the actual text of your web page.
* SEM on the other had is the process of integrating a variety of methods to insure the SEO work is successful. These methods will include research for your business, competitor analysis, link exchanges, articles, news, newsletters, audience analysis, and ultimately the method employed to generate traffic to your website.
It is the same distinction between the words “marketing” and “advertising”.
* Marketing is the process or technique of promotion, selling and distributing a product or service.
* Advertising is to make your product or service publicly known; an announcement to call public attention by emphasizing qualities to arouse a desire to purchase.
There are two words that are feared in the SEM world: Patience and Change!
You will need ongoing commitment to making search-engine ranking a long-term investment in your website. You will need to give it time and energy – it isn’t a quick fix.
Considerations with search engine patience:
* Search engines often change their ranking formula.
* Each search engine has its own algorithm (formula) to determine site ranking.
* META tag keywords are not a magic bullet to improve your ranking.
* Search engines can take many months to index new information, so patience…patience.
Search engine spiders can be extremely slow to index new information, so be patient! It may take months to see your changes affect your search engine ranking. Remember, a website is a dynamic marketing tool that you are building over time. Treat it well, give it a little love and attention, and your long-term rewards will be well worth your efforts!
If you thought nowadays search engine marketing can still be done by acquiring (and using) an auto-submission software, drop this thought immediately. This brings us to the other feared word, “change”! It is inevitable for technological changes to take effect with search engine algorithms. Websites drop rankings from 8 to zero over night. Because things keep changing, search engine marketers need to devote a good deal of time staying on top of the SEO industry and its trends. Watch your page ranking, your website statistics, your Alexa traffic ranking. All of these tools will allow you to find out if there are any significant changes occurring on the web.
While Search Engine Optimization and Advertising are specific tasks to engage, Search Engine Marketing is the key component that actually determines how you will optimize and advertise on the web. It is the research, analysis, strategy planning that will determine the execution methods.

Selling products online has become very lucrative for many netpreneurs. Ebooks and special reports are amongst the most popular type of downloadable products. These files in written form, can be very useful when they convey desireable information.
Indeed, information is what fuels the internet. People log online to search for information. If you have the information they need, they will come to you. If this information holds a lot of value, you could sell the same and make a good profit. Since words are still the primary tools of communication on the web, information is often conveyed in written form.
Preparing written works is not easy. For starters, not everyone can write well. Those who can may not take the time to embark on such an undertaking.
Fortunately, there are some alternative routes you can take which will allow you to prepare your own eBook or special report without having to write down a single word. Let’s take a look at 5 of these options.
Gather some articles and compile them in a single volume. This would be the easiest way to prepare your own digital product. These articles can be PLR works which grant you the right to alter them and use the content anyway you please. They may be articles written by other people, which you have compiled from renowned websites like ezinearticles.com or goarticles.com. If you choose the latter, just make sure that you respect the terms and conditions of their usage, primary of which is the inclusion of the original author’s resource box. Make sure that each article organically and logically flows to the next. You can ensure this by studying the articles you want to include.
Conduct an interview with an expert and record the same. Thereafter, hire someone from rentacoder.com, elance.com or guru.com to transcribe the conversation you had with the said expert. You’d be surprised how quickly you can compile 50 to 200 pages worth of essential reading material using this method.
Buy an existing eBook or special report that comes with private label rights. This would enable you to alter the contents of the same, and even name yourself as the author of the work. You could add some materials as you feel are necessary, or better yet, you could combine two, three, or even ten of these PLR eBooks or special reports to come up with an encyclopedic tome of information worthy of some notice.
Hire a ghostwriter to prepare an eBook or a special report for you. There are many freelance writers looking for work at the websites we mentioned above. It’s just a matter of selecting the best writer for the job at a price that will not be too daunting to your budget. Expect to pay $200 to $1,000 for a 50 page eBook.
Here’s a novel approach. Join an internet marketing forum, and ask a question. A good example would be “How Could You Profit From The Internet With A $0 Budget.” For certain, you’ll get some amazingly enlightening replies. Compile these replies until you’ll have enough materials to come up with an eBook or a special report. Ask the posters’ permission to avoid any copyright issues. Chances are, they’ll agree, provided that a link to their respective websites are included in your work.
Lack of writing prowess, or the time to write, is never a bar for the production of your own digital products. All you need is a little imagination, and hopefully, the suggestions above have stirred up some concepts in your mind.

If you own a website or other business on the internet, you need customers. Amazing revelation, huh? With all the competing websites, how do you get them to find your site or your email responder, newsletter list?
You need to have some good strategies, and lots of study, for marketing an online business. One of the most used strategies for marketing an online business is learning to get a high search engine ranking. If you don’t rank highly you will have difficulty being found.
There are some key methods for high ranking. Start by keeping everything on your site relevant to the subject. Read the previous sentence again please. It is worth many thousand of dollars in training and hundreds of hours of learning time to you. This makes good sense anyway because once the customer has found you, you want him or her to stick around. Right?
If you were to pay me a $1,000 for one day of internet marketing training the first thing I would teach you would be the next three paragraphs below;
Article marketing is a powerful way to promote your site. Make a list of 1 to 10 on a sheet of paper and write one very brief point of your website by each number, then stop! Come back the next day and start writing a sentence or two after each numbered point already written, then stop again.
Come back the next day and relax and write another sentence or two after each sentence already written, based on your experience and knowledge. Then stop again. Come back the next day and make corrections.
You can do this. This is very powerful. Polish it up a little the next day and you have a wonderful article and picture of your site that can be sent to article directories all over the place that will give you plenty of very low cost publicity that you could never get otherwise.
Choose a domain name and website title that fit well with your business keywords. Your title should be easy to remember and oh so pertinent to your web site subjects. Got it? Forgive me for repeating but the above is drop dead important.
Links to your website make a difference in search engine rankings, so contact sites that offer information complementing yours and ask for reciprocal links. If they use yours, you use theirs. If they do not use yours, do not use theirs. No exceptions. Be aware that this information will change as search engines redesign their methods for relevant results. You now know that the internet is always changing.
Another strategy for marketing an online business is to use pay-per-click advertising. This can be a fast way to get listed high in the search engines. There are several providers of pay-per-click advertising. It pays to check out a variety to see which suits your needs the best. Testing, over and over, is imperative for success.
Weblogs are a newer source for marketing an online business. They tend to rank well, and consumers like them. Use your blog to talk about your industry or cause and provide links to your website. Blogs add a lot to your marketing program and can be fun to write.
Marketing your online business, constantly, is essential for success. You never stop doing it. Use all the marketing strategies at your disposal, wisely and honestly, and watch your traffic grow.

Article marketing is a “white hat” technique. It doesn’t cross the ethical or moral boundary of what may be considered wrong or devious, as opposed to “black hat” marketing techniques. In fact, search engines love articles. Writing high-quality articles on a consistent basis is the best form of free advertising, and thousands of websites are always looking for new content.
The whole concept behind article marketing consists of placing a link to your homepage within the article resource box. A lot of people, however, fail to realize that having just a link to your homepage is not enough. In order for your marketing efforts to be effective, writing articles must be part of a larger, more comprehensive strategy that includes “on page SEO.”
I’m sure you’ve heard the term “keyword phrase” before. Choosing the proper keyword phrase is essential when it comes to article marketing. You must choose specific and relevant keywords and optimize your homepage using those keyword phrases. Once you have accomplished this, writing articles will help boost your website to the top of search engines.
As I said earlier, the idea behind article marketing is to place a link to your homepage in the resource box section of the article. However, there are many people who don’t do this properly. Many think that just by putting their url they are helping their rankings. While it doesn’t hurt any, it is vital to your marketing efforts to use an anchor text link instead.
Let me explain what an anchor text link is. You have a particular keyword phrase that you want your website to rank well for in the search engines. What you do is take that keyword phrase and make it a hyperlink that links to the homepage of your website. Just make sure you delete the “~”. Now you have your keyword phrase text anchored as a link to your website.
This will boost your search engine rankings for the keywords you choose. The more links for a specific keyword you have pointing to your site, the higher your rankings will go for that keyword and the more traffic you will receive. People who promote article marketing as a wonder cure to generate traffic and get search engine rankings don’t understand the concept of using an anchor text link. Instead, they only link to their website like the first example, not utilizing the full potential that their articles have.
Do you have a blog? You should, but be certain that if you post your articles to your blog that it’s not the exact same version you submit to directories. You will severely damage your article campaign. You don’t want duplicate content posted on your blog. Change your article by at least 30% to be safe, more if possible. Don’t forget the anchor text link for your blog posts.
Write targeted articles that are as niche specific as possible. Article marketing should be based upon you wanting to help your audience, or target market. Give your best effort because this will yield better results for you in the long run. Don’t forget to keep your audience in mind. Write as though you were actually talking to a group of people. Be sincere and personal, and people will respect you for it.

It is recommended by the leaders in the field in online marketing thru the use of informational articles to keep them short and tight. They recommend keeping the articles between two hundred and five hundred words. As an article writer I agree with these gurus in online article marketing and most of their points in theory, as smaller articles get picked up on the Internet faster. However, in practice I can say that my large articles have been picked up too, although it is true not to the degree as the smaller tighter articles do, but all my articles seem to have been picked up on websites all over the world now.
The hotter the subject the faster the articles will spread across cyber space; hot topics do help that is for certain, that I had noticed right away. Some of my larger articles, which are into the maximum allowed on this site by making, the cut off by only 10-100 words were picked up. Now then for Ezines, they were not picked up, but my articles often, have punctuation; ‘issues” and the occasional spelling airory ‘know? But for the most part these Internet Article marketing professionals are right, and we should advise on the fundamentals.
Now then taking all these facts into consideration, I would say those who create many smaller articles do better in Internet article marketing and the gurus of the industry are correct. Now then EzineArticles.com has Education categories and in those categories larger articles are more relevant in many cases. I just think that point needs to be understood. Also I have noticed that many of my larger articles spider better under the key words and get higher rankings here. And to that point get read and seen by more people here. Some have over 500 article views on this site and are 1500-2000 words. So whereas I agree with these marketing experts, I am also dissecting this issue into complete scrutiny. Think on this when using article marketing on the Internet as part of your company’s growth strategy.

The recent Forrester Research study, which claims that only 2% of online households in North America use RSS, took the internet marketing world by storm. Does this data really mean that marketers can still afford to ignore this channel?
Soon after the Forrrester study became public, I received a press enquiry asking whether marketers should be interested in RSS now that so few online adults use it.
Is this the correct question to ask? Let’s take a look at the bigger picture …
1. THE FORRESTER STUDY VALIDITY
The Forrester study is just one of those available and cannot be considered as the only relevant study, although it was conducted on a sample of 68,000 households.
Jupiter Research estimates RSS penetration at 12% of the American online population, while the latest report from PEW shows that 9% of the American online population has a good idea of what RSS is. An October 2004 PEW studies actually estimated RSS penetration at 5%.
It is also important to understand that Forrester data does not include those that might not even be aware they are using RSS, especially through services such as My Yahoo, which is actually the most popular RSS reader.
Also, at the same time, Forrester Vice President Henry Harteveldt says that »RSS is critical for any organization that wants to reach out to people under the age of 30«.
2. THE FUTURE GROWTH OF RSS
Regardless of the numbers we put our faith in, the future growth of RSS is without question. Microsoft just recently announced full RSS support in the next edition of their Internet Explorer browser and full RSS integration in the next edition of their operating system, the Windows Vista.
Once RSS becomes easily available to most internet users out-of-the-box and becomes as widely spread as bookmarks, its adoption will grow at an incredible rate. Microsoft has now made sure this in fact will happen.
Consequently, the time for marketers to not only become interested in RSS but also master it is now. Those that test and discover the best possible ways of using RSS for marketing will be ahead of their competition once everyone starts using RSS.
Furthermore, since RSS implementation can actually be free of any charge, there’s no reason not to start providing your content in RSS feeds now.
3. GOOGLE SHOWS THE WAY
Microsoft and Yahoo! aren’t the only big players to show support for RSS. Google recently launched RSS advertising as part of their Google AdSense program, giving publishers reason to start their own RSS feeds to generate direct revenues.
Those that depend on Google AdSense for part or all of their online revenues actually need to provide RSS feeds, or stand to lose some of those revenues due to their visitors switching to sites and feeds from their competitors.
Face it, today many users are already starting to request publishers provide them with RSS to subscribe to their content. This trend will only continue, with many users selecting RSS as their primary channel of receiving and reading online content.
4. THE QUESTIONABLE RELIABILITY OF E-MAIL
all marketers today are experiencing e-mail delivery problems, constantly wondering whether their messages are getting through or not. Simply put, e-mail can no longer be relied on.
For one, offering your content via RSS as a supplement to e-mail will help you make certain that at least a portion of your visitors, those that decide for the RSS option, will be receiving all of your content without any doubt.
Lockergnome.com decided to start pushing RSS instead of e-mail some time ago, and as a result saw that their RSS feeds are outperforming e-mail when it comes to clickthrough rates for about 500%. Also an interesting fact, they today have 5 times more RSS subscribers than e-mail subscribers.
And two, for your most important content updates, RSS really is becoming a must, especially if you need to be in contact with your existing customers, partners and other key audiences. If you want to be 100% certain that your messages reach your audience, RSS is the way to go.
5. OTHER BENEFITS OF RSS
But all of the above don’t even touch all the reasons why marketers should start using RSS today …
a) RSS will help you generate additional traffic and reach new audiences. Considering the low cost of RSS implementation, this is reason enough to get started with RSS today.
b) RSS helps you to easily get your content published on other sites, thus generating you more credibility and visitors.
c) As a publisher you can use RSS to display content from other sources, thus making your site more relevant and interesting to your existing visitors.
And the list goes on and on.
RSS may not be main stream yet, but it provides enough advantages even today to make it a must-choice for marketers.

There are currently many discussions in the webmaster forums on contextual advertising programs and the changes they are going through. Which program currently has the most ‘publisher friendly’ terms of service? Which company values its publisher’s more? Which will pay me more? Which will be better in the long term…
And the most common, simple question: “Which one is best”?
Is there a solid answer to this question? Here are some of my thoughts on the subject.
The internet is an evolving creature by nature. It is not the same animal that it was ten years ago, or even ten days ago. It’s ALWAYS changing. Every single day, hour, minute, and second, something new is added to it. Someone is uploading their own personal creation at this very moment, helping to forge the web’s overall shape.
So if it’s always changing, then to survive in its environment we must be VERY flexible and evolve with it.
Why this is pertinent to PPC programs like Google’s Adsense, Yahoo Publisher Network, and the truckload of other companies launching their versions? Because they know how the online world works, and have most likely planned their options far in advance. Most of these programs have a TOS (terms of service) that reflects it.
Let’s take a deeper look.
In the Google Adsense TOS it clearly states:
“Google may at any time, in its sole discretion, terminate all or part of the Program, terminate this Agreement, or suspend or terminate the participation of any Site in all or part of the Program for any reason.”
Any reason in my eyes that also translates to ‘no reason’ or explanation. Nothing will be due to you should they terminate your relationship. They hold a royal flush; you didn’t even get dealt a single card.
At this point there are lots of readers that are nodding their heads and thinking, “that’s why I went with Yahoo Publisher’s Network”…. If you are, you’re in for a surprise.
In the YPN TOS it states their version:
Section 15.b “We may suspend or terminate our provision of Matched Ads to you at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, with or without regard for how well Your Site or Your RSS Feed is performing, the quality of user traffic coming from Your Site or Your RSS Feed, or any other factor, in Overture’s sole discretion.”
The list goes on and on and on. If you read the TOS of MOST affiliate programs available to website publishers you’ll find similar clauses. Clauses that YOU AGREE TO simply by clicking a little checkbox during the signup stage, but it go deeper. Those TOS agreements usually share another component. Almost every one of them gives the company the right to change, add, or delete any part of the TOS at any time, usually without notice to you. They also can sell your account off to another company. They can do ANYTHING they want with the terms. It’s YOUR responsibility to keep checking back to see if it’s been updated or changed.
They hold all the power. The reason they maintain these rights from the first moment of your participation is that they are aware of the web’s constantly changing nature. They are not able to foresee what terms will be necessary in the future. So their high paid lawyers are adding and changing those TOS agreements seemingly on a daily basis, in an effort to protect their company by any means necessary.
So is the “Made for Adsense -PPC” website model still a good business plan?
In the beginning of the Adsense-PPC business model, many people earned a lot of money by focusing on just contextual advertising promotion and building sites oriented to content that generated high paying clicks. It was a gold rush. In internet time standards a really long lasting one. One that has resulted in MILLIONS of websites built with only one goal, getting paid. A Wild West style runs for the mines.
But similar to the demise that eventually followed the discovery at Sutter’s Mill, those people that are now running to get in on the PPC gold rush are lucky to find a flake or two for their efforts.
The search engines are now clogged with junk websites, zero content websites, circle jerks, redirects, scripts that generate content based on a search, etc. The mass amount of low quality has made the advertisers that foot the bill react, and they are jumping ship at record rates.
Forcing the PPC companies to exercise their right to change or terminate their agreement, falling back on that trusty TOS that you electronically signed. Many times exulting in termination and nonpayment for the website owner. If it’s a company that doesn’t have a strong TOS, then it might result in the company’s demise, also leaving you without compensation.
So back to the original question which should I choose?
My advice to you is to diversify your business plan as much as possible. Build different revenue streams for your overall web income. If you don’t want to expend the time and effort to build and maintain a portfolio of sites, then consider additional affiliate programs for the site you do own or plan to build. Incorporate different affiliate programs into your site.
I started in this business a long time ago, about ten years now. An eternity in the electronic world But even when I started, one of my mentors was fond of saying that he would rather get 100 checks for two dollars than one check for $200. His reasoning was simple. If you focus on one company for your income, and for ANY reason it dries up, you’re left with nothing. The rent doesn’t get paid.
If you focus on building a multifaceted business plan though, you might just make it

When my partner and I started the Internet Master Series, a 12-week series of weekly, live teleseminars, we had to start from scratch. We were totally unknown but set our sites on partnering with only the best, masterminds in Internet marketing like Alex Mandossian, Tellman Knudson and Joe Vitale. Just because these folks were much “bigger” than we were, we didn’t let this stop us. The results, we were able to form partnerships with everyone we targeted. Here are a few tips we have learned for forming joint ventures with folks who are “bigger” than you:
Be persistent. In creating any new relationship persistence is a key; approach the potential partner in several different ways – phone, email, in person etc.
Be Sensitive to their needs. This is key to any successful relationship. You need to put your offer in terms that will benefit them first and you second.
Be clear about your benefits. Tell them what you are doing, how they will benefit and why you are the right partner for them.
Demonstrate that you are doing something different. When we started the Internet Master Series, we shared our professional backgrounds with our potential partners and showed them how we would use our past connections to target people who were not typically in the Internet marketing business and that this would bring a whole new group of people to their message. This was our unique differentiator and we know it was attractive to our partners.
Demonstrate credibility. In order to create an initial relationship need to show; need to demonstrate that you have the ability to pull off what you say you are doing. While my partner and I didn’t have any credibility in the Internet marketing arena, we did have it from our previous corporate lives. By sharing our past executive-level, corporate backgrounds, we were able to demonstrate to our potential partners that we had a disciplined approach, had proven to be very successful business builders and would approach our new Internet Master Series in the same way that had made us successful before.
Before you approach a potential partner – do your homework. Make sure that you have enough knowledge about the person you are contacting so that you truly can give them an offer that will help them. When you shift the attention to them and are truly convinced that what you have to offer will make a real difference for them then your own fear begins to drop away. If you are paralyzed by your fears, then don’t approach the very top at first. Start with smaller things and build your confidence.
You also need to prepare yourself to handle rejection. If someone gives you a rejection, it is important to remember that they are rejecting your business offer and not you. Plus a rejection may not have anything to do with you and your proposal, but more to do with where the person you approach is coming from and where they are with their business at that particular moment.
Another thing to remember is that when you are approaching the most senior people, they often will have “gate-keepers.” These are people who are typically very loyal to their boss and it is their job to protect them. If you remember that this person is just doing their job and don’t get annoyed, then you will be much more successful in getting past the gatekeepers. One way to get past is through a trusted introduction. Another very successful method is to treat the gatekeeper in the same way that you would treat the person who you are approaching. Find how to help the gatekeeper and don’t treat the gate keeper any differently then you would treat the partner.
Forming joint venture relationships can supercharge your business. By following these steps we were able to recruit everyone we wanted and we found that while attracting the top players as partners is always a wild ride, the ride is usually worth the effort.

AdSense is categorized as one of the most powerful tool in a website publisher’s arsenal. It enables a person to monetize their sites or web blogs easily. If used appropriately, it can generate a very large and healthy income for them. But if you are not using them rightly and just maximizing the income you squeeze from it, you are actually leaving a huge amount of money on the table.
So, how you can start earning money with AdSense? It can be done easily and quickly. You will be amazed at the results you will be getting in such a short span of time.
Start by writing some quality content articles which are also rich of competitve keyword . There are a lot of individuals given the gift of being good with words Why not make it work in such a way that you will be generating some extra cash in the process.
There are actually three steps to put into mind before you begin putting your ads and having an effective AdSense.
You must not forget to do keyword research. Find some popular subjects, keywords or phrase and after that, determine its competitiveness. Select the ones which you think has more people clicking through– you can analyze keywords using free keywords selection tools but more effective keywords are bought.
Now, its time to write articles. Start writing original content with keywords from the topics that you have acquired in your search. Take note that search engines are taking pride in the quality of their articles and what you will be writing should keep up with their demands and standards.
The proper positioning of your ads should be done with enough care. Try to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them or on area that can easily be seen even wihtout navigating thoughout the page. Based on research, the one place that surfers look first when they visit a certain site is the top left Maybe it’s because some of the most useful search engine results are at the top of all other rankings. So visitors tend to look in that same place when browsing through other sites or web logs.
Finally, AdSense has some powerful tracking statistics that allows webmasters and publishers to track their results across a number of websites on a site by site, page by page, or any other basis you wanted. You should be aware of this capability and make the most of it because it is one powerful tool that will help you find out which ads are doing best. Have you ever heard or read the phrase “multiple streams of income” before? Do you know what this phrase means? For many businessmen, creating multiple streams of income online or offline is one way of securing themselves as well as their businesses in the future. They also believe that it can also save them from the so-called famine effect in the business industry.
Once you are engaged in affiliate marketing business, it is advisable if you have multiple streams of affiliate marketing income so that if one of those income streams vanished, it will not upset you the way losing your sole stream would. If you depend on just one source of income and this single stream has been downsized or has lain off, you’ll surely find yourself bankrupted and hopeless. Try to ask the most successful online entrepreneurs, and you’ll discover that they have established multiple streams of online income.
There is a businessman that said and attested that the very first step you must take in creating multiple streams of income is to assess or evaluate your resources. Start by assessing yourself first. Jot down your answers to the following questions: What are the talents, abilities, strength and gears that you possess? Are you gifted with excellent and creative writing skills? Can you do well at sales? Are you good in communicating with people? Are you born with an artistic skill or unique ability that other people don’t have? Through this, you can determine the kind of business where can possibly excel.
Next, look around and write down your assets and physical resources such as computer, color printer, scanner, digital camera, cell phone, CD or DVD burner. Write these all down because it can be used as a resource. Consider also your friends and family. Find out what do they possess that you have access to. Remember that no man is an island. You can use the talents, abilities, knowledge and resources of everyone you know.
That’s basically the initial step if you want to create multiple income streams. But if you’re already a webmaster or a site owner, you definitely have an edge. Why don’t you join affiliate marketing business to help you gain extra income out of your own website?
Being involved in affiliate marketing is one of the most desirable ways to make multiple sources of income. It is because affiliate marketing programs come in various shapes and forms. There are a large number of affiliate marketing programs that you can sign on with and start gaining bucks right away. In affiliate marketing, you can make money by promoting and reselling your affiliate products and by recruiting new affiliates. What’s good about this is that you can find widest array of training materials that can enhance your marketing abilities. In affiliate marketing, you can be sure that there are genuine products to promote and sell and there is real income to make.
Either part time or full time, being an affiliate marketer is an excellent way to create multiple income streams by means of promoting products and services from web merchants. Here, you can get affiliate commission without investing big bucks in making your own product and without worrying about book keeping, customer support and ecommerce. All you have to do is to promote and resell the products and services in your site and pass on potential customer’s the merchant’s site.
In affiliate marketing, it is advisable to promote more merchants in your site so that your visitors will have variety of destinations to choose from. Using multiple merchants in the same site or niche means only one thing – you have multiple streams of affiliate income. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this business strategy because this is one of the best ways to protect your business and expanding your horizons. Through this, you can be assured that you won’t experience crisis if ever one of your web merchants closed his/her program.
However, you should choose only those affiliate programs that interest you so that you can effectively advertise and promote them. Don’t ever be tempted into signing up for numerous affiliate programs in the hope that one of them will bring income. Select wisely and don’t be engaged in selling products you know nothing about. Go with the stuff that jives with your enthusiasm; your passion can capture your client by the nose and guide him/her to your affiliate link.
You should also work hard to make your multiple streams of income more stable. You can do this by embracing some strategies and tactics and by developing within yourself, some traits that can help you become successful in any kind of business such as patience, persistence and thirst for knowledge.
Lastly, just remember the adage that says “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” So that if one of them is lost, you can still have some to make omelets. And what do these eggs have to do with multiple streams of affiliate income? Well, it goes without saying that the more streams of income you possess, the bigger and better your money lake becomes.

There are no shortage of stories about people who have quit successful “day jobs” to make their fortunes on the Internet. Many of these self-made people managed to do so through affiliate marketing programs, which means they didn’t even have to sell a thing or handle a product to make enough money to survive and even thrive without a 9-to-5 job.
Learning how to become an affiliate isn’t very difficult, but it will take a little time and research. A lot of people turn to affiliate marketing eBook guides for advice. This is a great option, especially when they are created by those with proven track records for making money this new and fascinating way, but there are other options out there, too.
The truth is affiliate advertising isn’t all that difficult to research and get involved with. Anyone interested in getting involved with different online affiliate program offers only needs two things:
1. A website. This is an absolute must. You simply cannot have an affiliate marketing program running without a website on which to advertise it. Sure, affiliate programs will give you a turnkey site but if you are serious about making a living from affiliate programs you should have your own website.
2. Determination. This isn’t tangible, but it is what separates the successful from those who are not.
These two things should be in place before you sign up for affiliate marketing programs. It doesn’t hurt, however, to research the different best free online affiliate program offers before actually creating a website. If you put the cart before the horse, so to speak, you can tailor the web site to the affiliate programs you are interested in.
All it takes to find many different affiliate offers is a quick Internet search – there are literally thousands of them out there. Some are better than others at turning traffic into money, so affiliate review articles might be worth perusing, too.
Once a few affiliate program choices have been made the next steps will depend on those programs themselves. Generally, to sign on to become an affiliate, a website owner needs to:
1. Carefully review an Internet marketing company affiliate’s program offerings. This means understanding the terms of the agreement, how the companies pay, what they pay for and even what their product is. Some ppc affiliate programs will pay out every time a visitors clicks on their ad from your site and visits theirs, but others will only pay if a product is purchased. Many successful site owners use a combination of the two.
2. Sign up. Most businesses that offer affiliate programs for advertising will require website owners to sign up. During a review of the application, the affiliate advertiser sometimes will review the website and make sure it fits their purposes. For example, a children’s toy company likely will not approve a XXX web site for affiliate advertising. Many however do not have any approval process. If you are joining one of the top affiliate networks, like RoiRocket, you will wait a day or two for approval.
3. Wait for approval. There’s not much to do here other than work on building up the website while you wait.
4. Put the ads up. Most affiliate programs will offer special HTML coding to ensure their ads are in place on your site and that you get proper credit for any traffic that comes their way from your site. Most also include affiliate tracking features to help you keep up with your cash flow and visitor stats.
Becoming an affiliate is not a very difficult process. It’s the next step that really takes the work. Transforming the affiliate opportunity into a real moneymaker will take dedication, but it can pay off in a big way.
I personally was able to quit my offline job in 2004, so I know that affiliate marketing works, if you work it.

The key thing to remember is to be patient; it can take over 4 weeks for you to see the benefit of any link building campaign. It can also take longer for people who you have requested links for to get back to you or even add your link, so do think that you will do some link building and be T10 on Google in a few weeks.
Reciprocal Links
The first and most debatable way to gain links is by getting what are called reciprocal links. This process involves you placing a link to website A and then those placing a link back to you. Now the debate focuses on how effective this form of links is and weather Google will penalize you for participating in this.
The answer to this is that they are both good and bad, confused? Well basically its kind of like beer, if you drink in moderation its good for you but if you go crazy and indulge too much then its not.
Relevant Links
Relevant links are important to any link building campaign, these help define your site and Google places a higher value on these than non relevant links. So what is a relevant link, well it’s a link that is on the same topic as your website. So if you have a website that sells hotels, then having travel related or accommodation related links are better.
Directories
There are different types of directories on the internet and the two main ones are Free and Paid. These can be great for not only building one way links but also getting good quality links to your website. The two best known directories’ are Yahoo and DMOZ; these have the highest credibility with Google and will give you a quality link back. They do both have their drawbacks though as the DMOZ is free but it can take a long time to get listed and if you have an affiliate website then you have practically no chance of a listing. Yahoo will list your website within a few days but they will charge you a massive $299 for the privilege and that’s not even a guarantee that you will be listed in the directory. There are some pretty good lists of directories on the net and for both free and paid ones, try seocompany.ca list of various directories. Also you could do a Google search for “free directory’s” or “paid directories”.
Bogs and Forums
Bogs and forums can be a great for getting links also and also relevant links at that, just type into a search engine “bog” or “forum” and a keyword related to your website and you should find a good selection of relevant bogs and forums.
You can then contribute information to a forum and usually add an anchor tested link to your website as a signature. These can give you high pr backlines depending on the quality of the forum.
Bogs usually allow you to comment or contribute to them and this again allows you to get a link back to your website. Also starting your own bog can allow you
Finding Relevant Links
The most basic and most time consuming way to find links is by searching the internet for sites which you can add your site too. There are a few ways to do this, one is to type into a search engine the words “add burl” or “add website” and a keyword related to your website. So if you have a books website then type “add burl book” as a search.Another well used method is to find websites that link to your competitors; you can use programs such as IBP or SEO Elite which both cost money. Alternatively you can type where you replace your competitor with a website which is in Google top 10 for one of your keywords. This method can be effective for finding which directories your competitors are using and also you can sometimes find sites which they are paying to list on. The chances are if your competitors are paying for advertising on a site then it is probably worth getting your website listed there too.
Write Articles
A great way of not just getting one way links but also good contextual links as you can write an article on a topic related to your website and add a link within the content where relevant. This method also allows you to add a link back to your website in the author section which will be kept with the article. The article can then be submitted to various websites which distribute them for you. Basically they give people permission to use you article on their website providing they retain your author information, thus you can gain dozens of links from a single article. Since the sites often are on the same topic as the article meaning that you can often give relevant links back to you site.

Article marketing or article promotion is an excellent upcoming marketing tool, especially for small business having low budgets and insufficient funds. It is a self-generating marketing strategy, which attracts the customer flow to a web site. Article promotion is a best way to promote products, services and programs, which the business entrepreneurs have to offer.
Key Benefits:
1. Efficient SEO Tool:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of building links and making the web site more accessible for search engines, whenever visitors type in specific terms in the search box and look for search results.
Article marketing is an efficient SEO tool, since it helps in diverting the traffic flow to a web site, by specifying certain keywords and links in the resource box of an online directory. These keywords and links direct the visitors to that site and thus, have positive search engine results.
2. Increase In Link Popularity:
Increasing number of linking sites to a particular site and rising customer flow, enhance ranking of a web site in search engines. Generally, search engines give greater significance to sites with larger number of links to other sites or directories. Thus, increase in link popularity helps to gain more subscribers and increased sales.
3. Pre-sale of Products:
No doubt, that scope for online marketing is increasing immensely. However, a customer would always want to know proper details of a product before purchasing it. Thus, article marketing highlights the purpose, efficiency and other important details regarding every product. This enables visitors to make a suitable choice, according to their needs.
3. Expert Reputation:
Article promotion increases reputation of the site host as an expert. If a site offers high quality goods and services, and advertises the same in an efficient manner, then the confidence level of customers in the site products enhances. This also enhances the reputation of that web site and displays its owner as a reliable professional, from whom customers feel free to make any purchases.
4. Benefits of Attracting Visitors:
Apart from having the visitors to make online purchases, article marketing has other benefits of attracting customer traffic too. This involves distributing those articles to online publishers, who help to advertise that web site.
For instance, if an electronic newsletter called ezine having large number of subscribers happens to pick an article, then the site owner benefits from a massive increase in sales and subscribers. If a printed source comes across and publishes an article, then readers are likely to get familiar with the products and services.
5. Free Marketing:
Article marketing is a beneficial way of advertising, if a person lacks the financial power to run PPC (Pay-Per-Click) or Clickbank programs. Investment is required only in terms of time. In fact, it is an efficient marketing strategy, which helps to entice visitors to visit the site repeatedly. Thus, distributing articles and submitting them on a consistent basis, produces recurring traffic for a web site.
Through well-organized article marketing, it is possible to build a good rapport with customers and win their trust. However, it is equally important to offer high quality goods and services along with article marketing, to have a permanent flow of visitors to a particular web site.

Article marketing services help bring the world of Internet marketing together and work. Many Internet companies know that selling their products and information online requires them to be exposed, be noticed in the same way national ads on TV work to expose themselves to TV viewers. Article marketing services provide the link needed for online companies and business to receive high exposure on the Internet.
Search engines love these article marketing services. The professional articles that are written using SEO and paying close attention to relevancy are very useful in the relationship between web traffic and Internet business. This is what helps make the search engines so popular with everyone.
Article marketing services provide professional writers that create articles for various online businesses that need well written articles for marketing and information about their services. Both the information and promotion of these articles are balanced for relevancy and optimization for the search engines. The proper information within a article has the ability to score well in a search engines ranking.
More online businesses today realize the importance of good article placement and rely on the article marketing services more than ever before. Companies also contract out this area of expertise because they do not have a creative writing staff to rely on themselves.
Many people are finding out that the ability to be a creative writer on the Internet is not enough. Article writing for the Internet requires a few more additional skills that many are not aware of.
The need to understand and pay attention to search engine optimizing, SEO, also has to be in place. The search engines have rules of engagement. When SEO is ignored or not used properly, an article fails to become indexed in the search engines directory. The article could be great, but no one would over get to find it online without attention paid to good SEO.
This also lends itself to the reason article marketing services are experts in this field. The professional writers are expert in knowing how to get the articles ranked high and targeted for good exposure to the online consumer.
Because of the special relationship that exists between article marketing service providers and search engine companies, many new article marketing services are cropping up on the Internet wanting a piece of the Internet pie. It is a very busy, lucrative field.
With so many Internet marketers trying to write their own articles for high search engines ranking, many have found that there is a difference between a standard article and a professionally written article that article marketing services provide for their clients.
The better the article, the higher the search engine rank. The higher the search engine rank, the more people find and read the articles when they Google for information. The articles direct the readers to the companies websites, the websites receives good traffic, which means exposure to the consumers.
This helps to explain why there are very clear advantages for businesses to use article marketing service providers. With millions of articles screaming to be read, having the articles that are search engine friendly and reader friendly will increase the odds tremendously for being noticed.

If you would like to make money selling e-books, you must first create yourself an e-book.
After your e-book has been created, you will then need to sell it.
Many e-book authors, when selling their creations, use an e-book sales page. An e-book sales page is a page that outlines the e-book available for sale, as well as its price. Although an e-book sales page is a great way to advertise your e-book it won’t help you get sales alone.
You also need traffic. If your e-book sale page isn’t seen, no one will know that you have an e-book available for sale.
An organic approach is one that is considered all natural, versus ones that are forced or made up. An example of a non-organic marketing approach is participating in a pay-per-click program. One of the most popular types of organic internet marketing approaches involves the use of articles, namely distributing them to article directories. The use of an organic traffic increasing tactic, like the use of articles, will not only help to increase your traffic, but it will also keep you, your e-book, or your business name in good standing. This is important because many online sellers have started turning to back-hand marketing techniques.
As it was mentioned above, the best ways to use articles to generate organic traffic is by distributing them to article directories. Article directories are websites that host a large collection of articles. In exchange for allowing an article directory to display your article on their site free of charge, you will be rewarded with a link. That link is often referred to as a back-link. If properly set up, readers who find your articles in article directories will be able to make it to your website. If you choose the right link, they can be directed right to your e-book sales page! Essentially, this means that you will not only increase your website traffic, but you may also increase your e-book sales.
Although your best bet is to create articles and distribute them to article directories, you may also want to think about including content, or articles, on your own website. Whether you have a whole e-book sales site or even just one simple web page, you can get a large amount of traffic from internet search engines, but only if your site is optimized for them. Search engine optimization, which is often referred to as SEO, encompasses a number of different things, but you may want to focus on content, as it is one of the easiest methods. You will want to have content on your website; content that search engines will pick up.
When writing articles, whether you plan on using them for your own e-book sales page or article directories, you are urged to examine programs that are known as keyword research tools. Keyword research tool programs allow you to determine what keywords or keyword phrases internet users are searching with. If any of these keywords apply to the subject of your e-book, you are urged to use them. Using applicable keywords or keyword phrases will not only generate organic traffic, but it may also help to increase your sales, by brining in customers who are interested in what you have to sell.
In short, articles, whether they are displayed on your own e-books sales page or distributed to article directories, can help you generate organic traffic. As previously mentioned, organic traffic is more likely to result in a high number of e-book sales. Organic traffic is all natural; therefore, website visitors actually want to come to your e-book sales page, not just because they are being paid to do so.
Articles are a relatively easy, fun, and creative way to increase your e-book sales site traffic and maybe even your sales!

The Money is in the List?
I am sure that you have heard this before. If you are involved with Internet marketing, you have probably heard it over and over again. But, Is it True?
Absolutely!!
I am involved with affiliate marketing and the great thing is that you do not need a product to begin making money. There are thousands of viable products available that you can make a great income on.
Whatever your interest or your niche is, there are plenty of products waiting for you to make money with. There is also plenty of room for you to create and promote your own product. Provided of course that it is a good one.
As for affiliate programs, they are very simple to get started with. You just need to sign up for their affiliate program, promote it, and watch the money start rolling in (hopefully). This is all great, but then what? Most likely you would find another product and start all over again.
What if, when you find or create this new product, you already have hundreds or thousands of people to instantly tell about it? You can shoot them a quick email and have immediate money in your pocket. Then you can start advertising this product and create even more people for your next great idea. As you can imagine, this process can take on a snowball effect. Before you know it, your primary income will be from your online business. Now you can work from home!
How do you go about starting a list?
One of the best ways is to create a squeeze page. This is a simple one page website that is designed to capture your visitors name and email address. You can do this by offering a free report, a free subscription to your newsletter, or both.
Once you have their information they are added to your auto responder and they are a part or your list. At this time you would redirect them to your affiliate product website or to your own website with a link.
You have now created a potential customer for your current and your future products.
When you start to email them regularly make sure that you are offering them something of value. Some ideas include: useful information, free reports, free software, and creative ideas that you come across.
You can than suggest your product and offer a link to your product or affiliate page. Build up your product with a strong sales message and watch the sales start pouring in.
One piece of advice, do not oversell to your list. This is a very valuable resource and should not be jeopardized.
You need to give good solid information and only promote worthwhile products. Treat your list as a group of friends that you want to help with the information that you are providing. Not as another dollar in your pocket. Just follow the golden rule and treat your list as you would want to be treated and you will be on your way to success.

Ebooks are a great way to make money online. All of the big Internet Guru’s sell them. This alone should tell you something. To develop a profitable business, use the same techniques as those who are most successful. Some of these Guru’s make six figure incomes ON A MONTHLY BASIS! So get your piece of that action, develop your own ebook.
Many people think that writing an ebook is too hard. But it doesn’t have to be. If this is your first attempt at writing an ebook, start out small. Begin by writing a short five to ten page ebook. But for some people, even this seems like a daunting task. Follow these easy directions and you will be well on your way:
1. Make a detailed outline of the points that you want to cover.
2. Organize your outline so that all related items are grouped together into separate categories. You should probably have three or four items in each category.
3. For each category, write a short 300 to 500 word article. Give each article a title and save it for later. The nice thing about this technique is the fact that you don’t have to complete the project in one day. If it takes you two weeks (or ten weeks), it’s okay. Take your time and do it well.
4. After completing an article for each category from your outline, organize them into a single file. Read through each article carefully. Does the information flow from one article to the next? If not, you may have to add some filler information.
You’ve just completed your first ebook. Give it a catchy title and you are business. Smaller ebook like this frequently have much higher conversion rates than larger, more expensive ones. You can also you it as a give-away item to entice people to subscribe to your list. Because it is your own, you can do whatever you like with it. And more importantly, now that you’ve seen how easy it is, your next one will be that much easier.

I implemented this tactic myself yesterday on one of my sites and my CTR has gone up 350% and it hasn’t been 24hrs yet. Needless to say I’ll be spending the rest of the morning making changes to my Adsense ads across my site network
how?
Dead easy.
I implemented this tactic myself yesterday on one of my sites and my CTR has gone up 300% and it hasn’t been 24hrs yet. Needless to say I’ll be spending the rest of the morning making changes to my Adsense ads across my site network.
What is it?
Sorry can’t resist a little intrigue.
It’s very simple. Using the Leaderboard banner 728 x 90 I added small images/photos above each ad at 140 x 100.
These photos are broadly related to the ads and draw the eye of the visitor to the ad. Which the ad alone maybe would not do. Once their eye is drawn they read the ad text below the image and they are much more likely to click.
Google already knows of this tactic and I know a number of people have approached them via email before implementing the images. Obviously nobody wants their account suspended. The good news is Google are fine with it, for now at least. Although a few warnings have gone out with regard to animated images not being appropriate. So no flash or animated gifs!
You can view this in action on one of my sites – You can’t fail to see it at the top of the page.
Now I hope this is new information to you. If so I know it’s going to be damn useful. And most of all profitable!
The benefit of this over Google’s own ‘image ads’ is, you choose the image for one and the basic text ad appeals for another. As I’m sure you’re aware text ads work better than image ads. This seems to work better than both separately by combining them together; the major boost comes from you being able to select the most relevant image to your site content.
