Training your Legs
Last Updated 4/11/2008
Leg training in the gym is without doubt the most consistently underestimated and under-valued part of many people’s gym routines. Leg exercises are reasonably unknown; they can prove difficult to accomplish and therefore often ignored and of course, people like to focus on what they can see in the mirror and what they can show off whilst wearing that tight t-shirt they’re desperate to fill. You’ll no doubt see it more in a health club but again, I’m talking about those guys who are big from the waist up, those who spend more time on the barbell curl than training the rest of their body put together. Let me tell you something, anyone can build up big arms or hit the bench-press but big legs are one of the tell-all signs of the dedicated bodybuilder.
It’s not easy and it’s not pretty, training your legs can be painstaking and tough, but if you’re in this for more than improving your fitness or hitting the beach, read on.
Here’s a general guide on how and why to train your legs.
Why train your Legs?
Firstly, the obvious reason is that no-one ever looked good with a bulky upper body and chicken legs. Symmetry is a huge part of bodybuilding and your legs are as important as any other, especially considering the load they’ll no doubt have to carry.
Secondly, much of your core body strength comes from your legs, especially important if you’re playing contact sports like rugby or football and need that extra strength to knock your opponent out the way.
Thirdly, stimulating your leg muscles causes the release of anabolic hormones such as testosterone and growth hormones so by training your leg muscles you are stimulating muscle growth for the rest of your body. This is a little known fact amongst beginners that can propel you past that last hurdle in taking your gym time to the next level.
Important Exercises
Training your legs involves working several different muscle groups and will take some time. There are several exercises you need to utilise to cover them all and you’ll need to be dedicated enough to do more than sitting on the leg extension for 5 minutes. Keep in mind, training different parts of your legs is as important as training different parts of your upper body.
Quads
Leg Extensions
These are great for working the quad muscles and warming up for the more intense exercises. Try not to heap too much weight on this exercise as too much my extend the knee and apply pressure on your connective tissue. Save the really heavy stuff for later. Try 3 sets of 10-15 reps.
The Leg Press
This is the angled machine that looks like a seated squat. Pile the weight on, bring it down so your knees get close to your chest and push it all the way without locking your legs straight. A great way of working your thighs. Try 3 sets of 10-12 reps.
Squat
The Squat and Deadlift are two of the most important compound exercises and should be part of everyone’s bodybuilding routine. The squat is a core exercise and works a number of key muscle groups, mainly targeting the legs. Always use a squat rack or Smith’s machine is possible for safety reasons and to keep form. Take time to get used to a good weight, rest the bar on your shoulders and back and bring the weight down, keeping your back straight and your backside is a foot or so from the floor (you’ll need to be able to get it back up again!). Try 3 sets of 8-12 reps.
Hamstrings
Deadlifts
As important as the squat in any monster workout, deadlifts are great for working the hamstring and also have positive effects on the back, shoulders and forearm.
Grab the barbell with both hands, keep your back straight and shoulders back. With your knees bent low, lift the weight up to a standing position and back to the floor. 3 sets of 10-12 reps.
Hamstring Curls
Lying on your stomach on the curl machine, bring your feet up and over your lower back and back down again. Training your hamstrings as well as your quads is essential to prevent an imbalance in your leg muscles and support your body. Again, 3 sets of 10-12 reps.
Calves
Calves are also an underestimated part of the body and a neglected side of leg training. A general exercise for the calves is the calf raise, whether seated or standing, using a machine of holding free weights. Using a machine is most common so with the weight as heavy as you feel comfortable with, lower your feet from a flat position to tiptoes and back again. Again, 3 sets of 10-12 reps is enough.
Now, we’ve covered a variety of leg exercises to provide you with a great leg workout, although it depends how serious you are to bodybuilding. Serious bodybuilders will do all these and more in one workout, if you’re a straightforward three times a week man, training the legs twice a week utilising the squat, deadlift and varying different exercises will be enough.
Dieting for Big Legs
Much like the need to diet and supplement for your upper body, the nutrition you intake will affect all parts of your leg development and equally sports supplementation will provide your body with the protein and energy required to build, repair and recover your legs

It was recently estimated that about 80% of the world’s population regularly uses herbal remedies and natural treatments for various ailments and health conditions. Growing public dissatisfaction with modern health care approaches and numerous disadvantages of using pharmaceuticals (including their cost, numerous unwanted effects and over-the-counter availability) produced a new wave of interest to traditional medicine and herbal remedies.
A great number of herbs and plants have strong therapeutic effects, and the humanity has not discovered the majority of those yet. Natural materials we can receive from medicinal plants contain a great deal of various chemical elements and components, which can produce powerful curative effects when they work as a composition. However, the effectiveness of herbal materials depends on some factors, such as climate, soil quality and other environmental aspects of the locality where the herb was growing, as well as the factors connected with harvesting and processing.
Herbal medicine is capable of curing a huge number of diseases and health concerns, starting from arthritis and eczema and ending with menopausal symptoms and chronic fatigue. At that, modern herbalists have a tendency to using whole plant extracts and benefit from therapeutic effects of the formulas, created by our Mother Nature rather than use extracts. However, modern herbal supplements and pills contain a great number of herbal extracts and concentrates, which are biologically derived and considered to be effective when working together. Such herbal medicines act slower in comparison with pharmaceuticals, but they usually have much better effects in long-term perspective.
There is a popular idea that herbal remedies are 100% safe because they are all natural. However, it is not true, and the people who rely on herbal remedies (especially modern natural supplements and pills with complicated formulas and dozens of ingredients) should not neglect possible side effects. Herbal remedies are also medicines, and chemical components of theirs can cause allergies, digestion problems or other negative reactions in the body. That is why it is absolutely essential to avoid self-healing and use modern herbal remedies under control of experienced herbalists or other competent medical practitioners.
You can find a great variety of herbal remedies and treatments in our pharmacies and health care shops. Essential oils used for aromatherapy and herbal teas are, probably, the most popular and safest among them. Liquid extracts, tinctures and syrups are used for treating the symptoms of such ailments as colds, headaches, increase heart rate and anxiety, depression and many others. Also, there are a lot of natural supplements, capsules, pills and tablets, which contain only naturally extracted elements and are designed for combating almost all known health problems of our times.

Like many other wives you may be wondering if you have a cheating husband. Are there certain tell tale signs that concern you about the fidelity of your marriage? Do you just have a gut feeling that he may be cheating on you? Women generally put a lot of stock in their marriage vows and maintaining their fidelity to their husband.
Whether you have been married for years or are a newly wed knowing that the man you chose to spend the rest of your life with is being honestly and truly monogamous with you is very important. However, before you just jump right in and start accusing your husband of cheating you do need undeniable clarity in the matter. It may hurt a great deal and leave your self-esteem crushed. However, here are 6 ways to catch him if you have the mind and heart to do so.
• Be aware of emotional and behavioral changes in your husband. Emotional changes influence the way a husband may act or his common behaviors. For instance, he may get angry, very angry over something trivia or totally innocent; he may take to not talking to you as he did before or confiding in you. It is even probable that he may start a fight for no reason just so he can leave. Has his work schedule changed with no difference in the amount of money he makes? Many cheating husbands will find time to schedule in another woman when he would normally be right there beside you. Does he seem to suddenly suffer from depression? Keep an eye out for emotional and behavioral changes when you suspect your husband of cheating on you.
• Is he spending as much time with you as before? Does he seem withdrawn or distant, has he lost interest in the things he once enjoyed doing with you? Trust your instincts, when it comes to spending time together. This is especially true for those times that you do particular things at particular times together. When you have been together for quite a while this is easier to notice and will make you wonder. Of course, you must realize that there are times when he will need to be alone as well as spend time with his friends or he does actually work overtime.
• You can always check on him by unexpectedly dropping by while he is working. While there you should look for any strange photographs, you may also want to search through his office trash pail or desk drawers to find anything out of the way, if the opportunity presents itself to you. For instance, are there any condoms, toothbrushes or cologne bottles? Check his desk calendar to see if there are any suspicious dates marked or phone numbers writing upon it.
• When he is late coming home, meet him at the door with a hug and kiss. While you are hugging him you should be aware of any strange perfumes or scents. These may include smoke, alcohol and even sex which should not be present while working at the office.
• Are there a lot of hang-up calls? Does he go off and away from you to answer or talk on the phone? When you get the chance you can check his cell phone for information to find the numbers of those he is talking with. Keep a secret list of the time and date when these strange phone calls happen to use as a reference later.
• Is he spending a great deal of time online? If he does this while you are sleeping he may be talking to her online. If you think this is happening, you can get computer software that remotely monitors any conversations. You can access any website he may visit with the password provided by the software.
Hopefully these pointers provide you with some valuable insights that you can use as a start.

I like a surprise just as much as the next person, and the best way for a company to surprise me is to deliver something that I was not expecting.
I have certain expectations about a business whether I consciously think about them or not. I am sure you are no different, and each time you deal with a company there are just certain things you expect to be the case. If a company were getting catalog printing done, I would expect that the catalogs they send me have great range of products for selection and the process of ordering will be made fast and easy.
If that isn’t the case I’ll take my time and money elsewhere, but if they do provide me with what I’m expecting, I’ll be pleased, if not surprised. You can get plenty of business by honoring what people expect from you, but are you really doing as well as you think you are? Are you getting as much attention as you could from customers, and are you doing the best marketing job possible by just living up to expectations?
The answer is no, and while you can survive by keeping things simple, you won’t grow as fast or as much as you could by going above and beyond. This is what really makes a lasting impression on people, and the best way to turn an average customer into a loyal one.
However, how do you go beyond these expectations of your target customers, especially if you are uncertain and unknowing of what they are? Well, the first step is to figure out what they are expecting.
Continuing with the example of catalog printing, the first step towards understanding these expectations is to look at all the other companies in your industry. Where do any expectations come from? They are usually derived from what a person has experienced before, which would be the kind of service they got from the other companies they have tried and become a customer of.
Take the time to really research how the other companies treat their customers, and try to find some way you can do it better. You might even poll people to get a better feel for what they expect in your company and what they are looking for. That way you can be certain that you give them more than they expect.
I cannot really sit here and tell you exactly what you need to do in order to improve on expectations, because I do not know what those expectations are. Each industry is different, and I expect different things from different companies. The right kind of research is the only thing that will be able to tell you what you need to accomplish, but you cannot even get that far if you are not trying to give people more.
That is the real point with this article: to ensure that everyone reading will become aware of the benefits that come from surpassing expectations and that everyone does their best to achieve this.
Kaye Z. Marks is an avid writer and follower of the developments in catalog printing industry and its benefits for small to medium-scale businesses.

There’s something very special about Tuscany. Not only does the region abound with incredible history, delicious local produce and no less than six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but it also exudes a very special charm. A sort of intangible elixir – a sense of well-being. One deep breath of Tuscan air and it feels like you’ve arrived home. Holiday rentals here are the real deal.
That feeling pervades in the historical cities themselves – Florence, Siena and Pisa. It’s difficult not to get caught up in the architecture of the region – from the austerity of the Duomo di Siena with its chastising papal gargoyles, to the Gothic lines of Florence’s central edifices. It’s living history – find holiday rentals in the depths of the cities and you will get a true taste.
For the real magic to work though, you need to leave the bustling centres for the tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. It’s here that you’ll find the pearls of the region such as San Gimignano and the Val D’orcia. It’s here that you’ll stumble across holiday rentals in secluded olive groves and abandoned monasteries. It’s here that you’ll forget about the real world.
And it’s not that difficult to discover this little bit of Eden for yourself. There are many holiday rentals available to hire in the region – whether you want a hilltop olive farm with stunning views across Tuscan countryside or a romantic stone cottage backing onto fields of sunflowers – you can find your perfect holiday rentals hideaway. Once you’ve found it though, you just might not want to come back…

No time? No excuse!

We all know how much time can be spent in the gym, not just in the gym of course, but getting there and back, showering, parking etc… However, it doesn’t always need to be this way. I’m certainly not saying start substituting your regular hour or more heavy weights session with a 15 minute short-cut, but if you’re short on time, or damn short on time, this could be a key 15 minutes that keep your muscles on their toes and ensuring shorter gaps between your heavy workouts.
For starters, doing an exercise once to exhaustion doesn’t mean you’ll achieve 3 times less growth than if you were completing the exercise 3 times. It’s a lot closer than you’d think and certainly ten times better than doing nothing at all. After warm-up, complete each exercise to exhaustion, rest 30 seconds and move on to the next muscle group. After hitting the chest, back, legs, shoulders, biceps and triceps, start from the beginning, hitting the first four muscle groups twice and the arms just once. Furthermore, by alternating exercises as well as muscle groups, you’re hitting as wide a variety of muscles as you would on a full body, hour plus workout.
Again, don’t think this’ll give you huge gains by using it 3 times a week consistently. It’s a get-out clause for those times you’d otherwise skip the gym so no more excuses, no more whining, we’ve all got 15 minutes to spare!
15 minutes in the Gym
Here’s a good routine to cover all muscle groups in 15 minutes: Remember, each set must be completed to exhaustion, resting for 30 seconds in-between sets.
- 3 minutes warm-up using light weights and minor stretching
- Bench-Press, 8-10 reps.
- Squat, 8-12 reps
- Seated shoulder press, 8-10 reps
- Bent-over rows, 8-12 reps
- Barbell Curl, 8-10 reps
- Tricep extension, 8-10 reps
- Incline Bench-Press, 8-10 reps
- Deadlift, 8-12 reps
- Shrugs, 10-12 reps
- Seated Rows, 10-12 reps
10 exercises, all to exhaustion with 30 seconds in-between sets.
15 minutes at home
If you can’t make the gym (and I’m talking apocalyptic reasons), grab a pair of dumbbells and give your 15 minute best.
- 3 minutes warm-up using light weights and minor stretching
- Press-ups, 50+
- Dumbbell shoulder press, 8-10 reps
- Bent-over dumbbell rows, 8-12 reps
- Barbell Deadlifts, 8-12 reps
- Dumbbell bicep-curls, 8-10 reps
- Dumbbell tricep extensions, 8-10 reps
- Flat Dumbbell Fly’s, 8-10 reps
- Dumbbell lateral raises, 8-10 reps
- Dumbbell lunges, 10-12 reps
- Crunches, to near exhaustion
In conclusion, remember these example workouts are supposed to be replacements for the gym; I just get frustrated with people’s excuses as to why they’re out of shape. Even if you’re not the most dedicated bodybuilder in the world, 2 or 3 gym sessions a week aren’t gonna eat up all your time and if you’re really struggling, a simple 15 minute workout will exercise those lazy muscles and will at least get your blood pumping so get off the sofa, miss the second half of Coronation Street and pick up those damn weights!

“Is it possible that what we’re selling is just priced too high?” I hear that question a lot when troubleshooting sales issues for clients during my seminars and coaching sessions. Plus it’s worth noting that it’s a question that tends to turn up again and again like a bad penny particularly in challenging economic times. My answer is always the same: price isn’t the problem.
I’ll repeat that again so the folks in your accounting department can hear me.Price isn’t the problem.
If you are already established in your market and you have set your prices competitively, then price-cutting is the last thing you should be thinking about as a solution to boosting your sales. Even in today’s tumultuous marketplace. To be clear, you do need to make sure that you price yourself strategically because your price determines a lot about who will buy what you’re selling-not just in the short term, but in the years to come. Consider who you want to attract as a customer–a Tiffany’sTM minded consumer or a WalmartTM minded consumer? I am not making a value judgment here, just noting that for each consumer there is a corresponding strategy.
Let’s start by considering the risks of price cutting and then we’ll look at solutions.
Price can determine who you are and who your customers will be
The trouble with playing the low-end pricing game is that it comes with a cost. Costs influence how customers perceive your products or services and can even reshape who buys them and why they choose you over a competitor.
Sure, some cite high-volume retailers like WalmartTM as proof that low prices and sales success can go hand-in-hand. But here’s something worth considering. How many successful low-price/high-volume retailers or airlines can you name? Now name as many successful higher-priced, value-driven retailers you can think of (e.g., Banana Republic or American Airlines). I’ll bet that your first list is shorter than the second one.
The high-volume business model is one that most simply cannot emulate. Even fewer can sustain it. One of my mentors, Dan Kennedy, says it best: “being the second-lowest price has no advantages.”If you are going to be the cheapest, be the cheapest, but that’s a very hard game to play.
Seasoned sales professionals will attest that a low-pricing strategy can also have an adverse influence on who you do business with. Instead of attracting customers who appreciate dealing with a sales staff and organization focused on value and excellence, you risk attracting buyers with fewer expectations other than your ability to offer the lowest price. Not only is that expectation difficult to sustain over the long term, it also makes it much harder to engender an emotional connection with them. And without that magic ingredient, those customers are less likely to stick with you. And why should they? They chose you largely on price in the first place.
Low pricing can very quickly become a slippery slope-once you start down that path, it becomes increasingly difficult to recover from it. Instead, consider the solution that I share with my clients. Start by re-examining what it is that your customers are buying from you, what needs they have that compel them to make the decision to buy and why they choose to buy from you rather than from someone else. What value to you bring? And if necessary, defend yourself against a price-lowering competitor.
Focus on value and benefits
Top-ranked sales performers don’t sell their products or services based on price. They focus on the value of what they are selling and how it can best meet the. They do that by finding compelling answers to the number-one question that every buyer asks themselves when considering a purchase, no matter how large or how small: “what’s in it for me?” Your customers want to know what they can expect to gain by choosing your product or service at the price you’re offering. Recognizing this, focus your energies into ensuring that your product-or service-offer meets (and even exceeds) those expectations.
That’s not to say that the value and benefits that a customer perceives is something that’s carved in stone. Far from it. Needs change with the times and the value that customers associate with your product or service today could very well be different from what it was just two years ago. That’s one of the key reasons why the most successful sales professionals invest a lot of their time talking and networking with their customers-they are always learning more about what their customers want today and in the coming years. The kind of insight you gain from that kind of legwork can prove to be invaluable, especially in a changing marketplace.
Defend yourself against a price-lowering competitor
Just because one of your competitors decides to start competing on price alone does not mean that you have to make the same mistake. If this is what you’re facing in your marketplace, push back by focusing on your strongest suit-the value and benefits you offer to your customers. Tony Cram of the United Kingdom’s prestigious Ashridge Business School (and noted author of “Smarter Pricing”) recommends conducting a “benefit audit.” Take stock of the following:
- Look at your products or services and ask yourself if there are new innovations you can offer. Also, consider how you might improve the range, choice and selection you offer to your customers.
- Reconsider the needs of your customers. Are they changing? If so why…and find out how you can keep meeting those needs.
- Reinforce peace-of-mind in the mind of the buyer about choosing you over a competitor. Offer a money-back guarantee, or extend the warrantee on your product.
- Position yourself as a leader or expert in your field. Be more than a provider to your customers…be a resource.
- Personalize your service and make sure that what you offer is always relevant to your audience.
By maintaining pricing a premium level, you continue to work with the best customers out there-the ones who are motivated by great service, who recognize the value behind what you do, and with whom you can connect with emotionally. Not only are these kinds of clients easier to manage, they are vital for you to be successful at your job of selling more to more people in less time.
Staying in-tune with the needs of your market does take work. It still requires legwork and thoughtfulness on your part to remain focused on fine-tuning the value and benefits of your product or service. However, it pales in comparison to what you’d be up against trying to find ways to constantly keep up with falling prices.

Thousands of people suffer from burn injuries each year. Burns can be caused by many things, including heat, fire, cold and chemicals. A burn injury victim may experience a wide variety of problems such as infection, shock and respiratory distress. Severe psychological problems also can arise because burns often cause scarring and deformity.
Burns often are categorized as first degree, second degree or third degree. Still more degrees define burns which are progressively worse. Here are descriptions of such categories:
First degree burns usually cause negligible distress, with redness or whiteness of the skin at the injury location. This type of burn only involves the top layer of the skin called the epidermis.
Second degree burns consist of surface scorching of the skin and, depending on the nerves involved, can be more painful. Second degree burns penetrate the dermis layer. Superficial blistering occurs, and these burns can be more distressing than first degree burns, depending on the nerves involved.
Third degree burns occur when the burn goes through the epidermis and damages the hypodermis. These burns usually result in scarring and loss of hair. They also may require skin grafting. These burns cause much damage and charring of the skin.
Fourth degree burns may involve the hypodermis being burned away. These may be limb- and life-threatening, and they do require skin grafting. Such burns go through the skin and into muscles and tendons, causing extreme damage.
The hypodermis is often burned completely off in Fifth degree burns. The skin will be severely damaged, muscles will be burned and blackened, and there will be much damage to tendons, ligaments, and bones.
Sixth degree burns involve burning of bones and usually are fatal. If the patient does survive, the affected limbs must be amputated.
Burn injury victims face many side effects and, depending on the degree of the burn, can endure problems with skin, muscles, blood vessels and bones. A physician can remedy some of these problems with skin grafting, but that is a very expensive procedure.
Burn injuries take time to heal, and treatment is costly, depending on the degree of the burn. Sometimes, these injuries are caused by some kind of wrongdoing or negligence. In such cases, it is vital to contact an experienced burn injury attorney so he or she can recover the costs of treatment, lost wages, pain, and suffering from those who are responsible.

Why stack sports supplements?
As we know, combined with the right diet and a great workout routine, sports supplements can be equally important in attaining and maintaining your perfect physique. Furthermore, if you are a serious bodybuilder and desire more than just a protein shake or Creatine dose each day, you can ‘stack’ a number of supplements together to get maximum benefits from your workouts.
These ‘mass stacks’ can put together the final pieces of your genetic limitation puzzle by ensuring your body gets everything it needs to thrive, without overwhelming it with excessive amounts of any one supplement. All sports supplements come with certain limitations. Likewise, all training regime’s are limited as to their impact dependant on your diet and level of supplementation. As each supplement offers its own unique benefit into the pro training regime, when combining the right supplements, they can work in harmony to give your body all the benefits of muscle growth, repair and recovery as well as the physical energy and general well-being required to hit your training potential.
A majority of good stacks are made up of a Whey Protein and a form of Creatine aided with a vitamin or amino acid. As each category of supplement has its role to play, as long as you follow the correct dosage, there should be no side-effects of using any number of supplements in your specific stack.
What might be included in various supplement stacks?
Several different stacks might work. Most are made up from the following basic products that combine to aid your body in virtually all ways supplements can:
- Vitamins & Minerals. – ensuring your body gets the right amount of vitamins is essential and most diets simply won’t do the trick. You shouldn’t underestimate the importance of this very basic supplement in not only ensuring your body receives the right amount of vitamins, but also ensuring your general health and well-being are in good stead for the rigorous workout routines ahead.
- Amino Acids – These are the basic building blocks of protein which is used to build, repair and maintain muscle. Branched Chain Amino Acids are the most essential amino acids as they prevent muscle loss while exercising which is crucial to maintaining muscle size, especially when ‘cutting’. In general, Amino Acids also increase endurance, energy levels, mental focus and prevent fatigue.
- Whey Protein – We all know the importance to any bodybuilder, whatever level they are at, of supplementing their diet with a vast amount of protein to ensure your body has the capability of repairing and building muscle fibres during and after workout. For more information on the benefits of Whey Protein, please view the articles section.
- Creatine – Creatine plays a vital role in cellular energy production and regenerates ATP stores so ensuring your body has enough is crucial. Creatine also increases water retention which in turns encourages protein synthesis, vital to building and repairing muscle tissue. For more information on the benefits of Creatine, please view the articles section.
- Testosterone Boosters – There are several products available that encourage your body to produce natural levels of testosterone and minimise the production of estrogens in the body, which is the safest way to encourage a natural positive anabolic effect to gain muscle, strength and endurance. To gain the maximum effects of testosterone boosters such as 6-OXO and Novedex XT, consideration should be taken as to whether this kind of supplementation is required i.e. regular workouts and rigorous diets ensure this product adds huge gains to you physically.
- Glutamine – The amino acid Glutamine, is an essential supplement when cutting, but is quite unnecessary when bulking up, as you should get all the required nutrients from your body. It plays a special role in protein metabolism which prevents muscle loss.
- ZMA – This provides an anabolic support formula including Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin B-6. This is an all natural formula which increases anabolic levels, supports testosterone production & suppresses muscle and tissue damage. Recent studies have shown that hard-training individuals are found to be Zinc deficient. Zinc is also needed to produce testosterone and a Zinc deficiency can result in a low sperm count, loss of libido and other emotional problems.
Stacking for the right result
Health Stack
Combining multi-vitamins for the nervous system, brain and eyes, omega 3 for connective tissue and Glucosamine Sulphate provides you with a great foundation for your general health and well-being. Anyone thinking of bodybuilding in any serious form should consider a combination of multi-vitamins and supplements to provide you body with the basic requirements and foundation of your healthy diet.
Energy Stack
Combining an energy booster, Creatine and multi-vitamins is a great stack for enhancing your energy levels and providing your body with the fuel required to build and maintain muscle.
Fat-Loss Stack
If your physical priority is currently to lose weight or shed those last few annoying hard to budge pounds, a stack consisting of a Fat Stripper (L Carnitine, Choline, Inositol & Betaine), Low Calorie Meal replacement and an appetite suppressor should do the trick. This is certainly a supplement stack you shouldn’t use if your goals are to build bulk or at least preserve muscle. To build muscle you should be enhancing your diet and increasing calorie intake and supplements that encourage protein synthesis and natural testosterone production.
Building Muscle Stack
For the beginner, a stack consisting of a Whey Protein, Creatine, Glutamine and Branched Chain Amino Acids is great for ensuring your body gets the right ingredients to bulk up. An increase in protein consumption combined with a Creatine supplement ensures your body encourages protein synthesis and has the nutrients to build and repair muscle tissue. The glutamine and BCAA’s combine to prevent muscle loss and increase energy levels and endurance, key to getting the most out of your workout and the Protein/Creatine combination.
For the more advanced bodybuilder, a stack combining Whey Protein, Super Amino Acids, a Testosterone Booster and an advanced Creatine (such as BSN Cellmass or Gaspari Nutrition’s SuperPump) will give you an advanced edge in supplementing your workout. Stacking with Whey Protein/Creatine, combined with a natural testosterone enhancer such as Ergopharm’s 6-OXO Extreme and the right BCAA’s is a great way of maximising your time in the gym.
Conclusion
Always stressed throughout this site is the importance of supplementing your workout with the right diet as well as the right sports supplements as all three combine to ensure you fulfil your bodybuilding potential in a safe, natural way. As we looked at above, the combination of supplements you stack can depend on your desired outcome, ranging from boosting your energy levels, enhancing your general health and fitness, losing weight or building muscle. For many people, a Whey Protein and/or Creatine supplement will be enough to ensure they get the best out of their three or four weekly gym session’s i.e. simply ensuring their body receives the required protein and uses it in the right way. For the more serious bodybuilder, advanced muscle gainers and Creatine’s, when combined with natural testosterone boosters can encourage your body to be pushed to its physical limit in a natural way. Daily workout routines result in your body requiring a number of vitamins and nutrients to ensure hours in the gym don’t go to waste and your body recovers in the most efficient way possible. Generally, the more dedicated a bodybuilder you are, the more advanced stack you are going to require. There’s no point spending one or two hundred pounds a month on supplements if you intent on hitting the gym a few times a week.
Finally, whatever your goals or limitations, never underestimate the importance or multi-vitamins and amino-acids that can play a huge part in ensuring your body combines your diet, workout and other supplements in the most effective way. All-natural formulas such as ZMA can add huge benefits to pro bodybuilders’ stacks by increasing anabolic levels yet suppressing muscle and tissue damage.
Whatever stack you decide upon, always read the instruction carefully and research any effects caused as a result of individual products. For medical advice, please consult a doctor.

MMA has become the fastest growing sport in the world today. Thanks mainly to the market dominant organisation UFC, mixed martial arts has evolved into a highly commercial business with mainstream appeal, represented by several fighting events a year and even reality TV show, The Ultimate Fighter. Mixed martial art is all set to overtake boxing both in commercial value and popularity.
The evolution of mixed martial arts began in the late 19th century when a boxing champion met a wrestling champion and was slammed to the mat in two minutes. This pattern hasn’t changed over the years and due to an increasing number of competitors, training camps, and information sharing and kinesiology; the understanding of combat-effectiveness has been greatly enhanced and as grapplers become strikers, strikers become grapplers and wider ranges of skills are developed to counter the many styles you may be faced with.
Mixed martial arts competitions are the ultimate contests between two people and contrasting fighting styles. With only a few rules between them, fighters face several minutes of non-stop striking and grappling to force an advantage over the other. Not only do fighters now require a range of skills and fighting techniques, they must be at the peak of their physical fitness and be physically and mentally prepared to deal with anything thrown at them, countering moves and striking back within split-second decisions.
The physical demands required are more and more rigorous and hours of daily training requires the pinnacle of sports nutrition to aid growth and recovery. To this end, sports supplements are essential in giving competitors that crucial edge. It is one of the rare sports where fighters must train to be boxers, runners, wrestlers and bodybuilders and getting the right nutrients at the right time can be the difference between success and failure.
A typical MMA fighter’s diet
As we know, in any athlete, a good nutritional diet not only improves energy levels and increases the effectiveness of strength training but it also enhances the bodies’ ability to resist illness and injury and avoid fatigue. Without doubt, nutritional intake is the most important aspect of an athlete’s regime. Like boxing, the competitors in MMA range drastically in shape and size so will vary hugely in their approach to the right diet. However, whether you’re looking to pile on the muscle or tone down, the right nutrients will determine how best you achieve these goals.
As in all sports, there are a number of basic nutritional principles that will ensure you are supplied with the energy and strength to train to compete in one of the world’s toughest sports. Despite the differing advice and techniques out there, we always recommend avoiding any form of fad diet or so-called ‘revolutionary’ diet you may have heard fighter’s adhere to. Eat 5 or 6 meals a day of smaller portion size and drink lots of water. Stick to the basic principles of natural carbohydrates, proteins and fats and combined with the right supplementation, will provide you with all the substance you need to train and compete with the best of them.
Protein: Whether training or after actual fights, a fighter’s muscles will experience small tears as the muscle fibres are stretched and strained beyond their comfortable limit. Protein is essential to ensure the muscle heals stronger than before and is ready to commence further punishment day to day. More so when leading up to a fight, a competitor’s body and therefore muscles are tested to the limit in a last push to reach their potential. Furthermore, keeping topped up with protein ensures the bodies’ energy supplies are also increased, preventing muscle loss when the body requires energy from its own muscle. Similar to bodybuilders, dieticians suggest Protein makes up around 35% of your daily food intake.
Carbohydrates: Large amounts of carbohydrates are essential to any sportsman’s diet, and never more so than a fighter. Carbohydrates give you the energy required to train hard, keep stamina high during a fight and replace lost glycogen stores to give you the speed and power on hand at the start of the fight, all the way to the end of it. Processed carbs such as pasta and white bread are less effective than natural ones such as fruits, beans, oatmeal and whole grain wheat. Dieticians suggest Carbohydrates make up around 50 of a fighter’s diet.
Fat: The misconception of fat is that it’s all bad, which as we know, is a fatal flaw in any sportspersons diet. Good fats such as Omega-3 and Omega-6 ensure internal bodily function so eating the right amounts of fish oils, nuts and seeds and supplements such as flaxseed oil can improve all functions of the mind, body and soul.
Supplements for fighters
There are a number of sports supplements that can aid fighters in a variety of ways and give them the edge that can prove to be the difference between knocking an opponent out, or gassing in the second round.
Whey Protein: As usual, protein is essential to any sportsmen who want to reach the top of their game and maximise their full potential. They prevent soreness after intensive exercise by increasing the bodies’ ability to repair itself, build muscle and stay strong and lean.
Check out our great Protein range: Whey Protein
Creatine: For that explosive power in the ring to the recovery and muscle growth out of it, creatine is an essential supplement for anyone serious about developing as a fighter. Not only has creatine been proven to enhance strength and prolong energy levels, it has also been shown to improve hand-eye co-ordination and mental focus, something never more relevant than to the pro fighter. The energy, power and focus needed to produce the victory late on in a fight when all else has failed can only come from a great creatine product.
Check out our great Creatine range: Creatine
Testosterone Boosters: Boosting natural levels of testosterone can have huge impact on a fighter’s strength, stamina and power. Post-workout, testosterone levels are depleted so boosting them with natural testosterone stimulants are a great way to encourage protein synthesis, boost energy and increase muscle mass. A great supplement for the more serious fighter, especially for those wanting to increase size and looking toward the heavier weight class.
Check out our great Testosterone Booster range: Anabolic Compounds Anti-Estrogens Tribulus ZMA
Fat Burners: For those of you wanting to come down a weight class in the most efficient and effective way can look no further than some of the great fat loss supplements out there. Ergopharm’s AMP V2 or San Nutrition’s tight Hardcore are just two of many products available that can safely increase metabolism, encourage fat loss, prevent muscle loss through catabolism and increase energy levels.
Check out our great fat loss product range: Fat Loss Products
Glutamine: Great for preventing muscle loss and damage that can occur following extremely heavy training sessions, Glutamine is essential in any fighter’s list of supplements. It also enhances the immune system and can be used as an energy source as continuous exercise depletes your bodies’ glycogen stores.
Check out our great Glutamine range: Glutamine
BCAA’s: Another supplement that shouldn’t be underestimated, Amino Acids are commonly known as the building blocks of protein and not only stimulate muscle growth, but aid recovery and prevent muscle loss, key to promoting and improving the muscle reactions required during fights. Furthermore, they can increase the body’s fuel supply by storing glycogen and have also been said to decrease the production of serotonin, thereby lowering mental fatigue and the feeling of tiredness, vital to any pro fighter.
Check out our great BCAA’s range: BCAA’s
Flaxseed Oil: This supplement is highly recommended to improve your general health and well-being, as well as many other possible effects such as the prevention of several cardiovascular diseases and cancers. Flaxseed oil is highly unsaturated and heart healthy and also readdresses the imbalance of Omega-3 and Omega-6, which can reduce the activity of cell-damaging free-radicals.

When I am cooking I usually read the recipe, if I happen to be using one, discard any ingredients I dislike, substitute other ingredients if the discarded ones seem critical to the outcome of the recipe and then reduce the cooking instructions by half. This procedure produces a swifter and often still edible result while allowing ample begin again time for those rare misguided attempts at culinary firsts. I have proven to myself empirically that combining two or more items that please my pallet will prove pleasing in its new form way beyond the number of times including any, let alone numerous, distasteful items in combination will produce a taste that is pleasant, satisfactory or in any way edible, forget about delightful. I find furthermore that this “recipe for recipes” works extremely well from one recipe to another and from one cookbook to the next.
Having said all of that, it must be noted that certain recipes change by virtue of the availability of ingredients or even cooking utensils or methods just as they do by the nationality or background of the chef. For instance, cooking fresh veggies over an open flame might produce very different results than boiling them in a pot and likewise cooking them in a wok over an open flame would differ from cooking them on a skewer over that very fire. Similarly, one chef could spice and marinate his vegetables while yet another would simply toss them into the goulash, stew, salad, porridge, gravy or “basemeal” in preparation. It may, at some point, be appropriate to divide these various cooking schemes into Separate Eating Orders or SEO?s.
Google, that intrepid group of interstellar web chefs in charge of the recipe due jour for internet search engine optimization and website rankings, has just rewritten the cookbook for search engine optimization once again. This time the main ingredient seems to be unconnected hot links sautéed in fairness and definitely not farm raised. Over time it has become more and more apparent that Google has risen to that most exhilarating ratified oxygen breathed by those few in power who feel themselves most benefited by the luxury of being fair. They are not unlike our own government’s founding fathers that operated very much the same way extricating a fledgling nation from tyranny utilizing a set of political algorithms called the Constitution of The United States of America. Amazingly, these algorithms, since the early inclusion of the Bill Of Rights have been changed very sparingly over time and worked very well until later generations ran out of items worthy to legislate and had to begin regulating personal freedoms in order to justify retaining their jobs. But that’s another article.
There are new rules to SEO and simpler algorithms. There is more attention to the benefits a site offers than the links it can acquire. Simply trading links has been relegated to the common eatery, stamped non-kosher where it remains on the deli menu. The meat and potatoes of web rank is now served with fewer but more flavorful, meaningful links. Web ranking is now somewhat like a treasure map to navigate the stars based upon the ability to provide a readable trail for those who follow. Give a man a fish and he will eat sushi. Teach a man to fish and he will write useful articles chock full of appropriate keywords while still casting his nets endlessly into the sea. Nets are like spider webs, just not as fragile. Will history be rewritten to “let them eat fish?” Will Moses have dynamited the red sea apart gathering the dead fish for the hungry. Will the elusive affordable, custom website design become easier to obtain under these new guidelines? Can anyone actually cook over a burning bush? Will Google host a New Orleans based cooking show directed primarily at web entrepreneurs? When someone accidentally pointed one of the Google Earth cameras in the wrong direction Google Sky was born. WAIT, THAT’S IT – THE GOOGLE DIET.

Most of the fears we experience are irrational. In other words, there is no valid reason that we should be influenced by them because they are not based on any real, physical event, person, or thing. The effect on the vast majority of people in our society, however, is poverty-mindedness and inability to enjoy the wealth that is all around. Fear is the single greatest reason that you and millions of other people have not and are not now living more of the lives you desire.
Irrational fear has become the filters through which your self image directs nearly every decision you make, especially if the decision involves finances. Irrational fear is a major factor that keeps 95% of the population either in poverty or struggling to live on paycheck to paycheck jobs. Since, in a the state of fear, calm, rational thinking is literally pushed aside, any decision you make in this state is generally not going to be in your best interest.
Obviously, in order for you to succeed at mastering your mind power and having more of the life you desire, some of your fears must be faced and overcome. Please do not despair. The overcoming of fear is not as difficult as it might sound, and I am not suggesting that you overcome all of your fears. Remember, some of them may be so deep seated that the services of a qualified, professional therapist might be required.
It is critical that you identify the fear or fears standing between you and your desires. Here is a process that worked for me. I began to consciously observe my reactions and feelings whenever (for example) money issues came up in conversations with my wife or other members of my family.
If something as simple as an extended vacation came up, I would begin to sense those fear feelings in the pit of my stomach that we would need the money that we would spend on the vacation for something more pressing, and I would produce various reasons why an extended vacation was not a good idea. If something as serious as starting a business or investing in capital properties entered our conversation, the fear of the possible loss of our hard-earned money would sometimes become so acute that I would have trouble sleeping at night. Keep in mind that I was earning a six figure income, but that did not deter the fear.
One day it dawned upon me that I had learned from my studies that I needed to focus on my desires more than I focused on fear. Once I began to consistently imagine the joy of seeing and visiting with my family, old friends, and new places, the fear of needing the money for something more pressing faded more and more. There really was nothing more pressing.
As for starting a business, I reasoned that by choosing the right kind of business, there were some tax breaks available to me. By taking advantage of them, I could possibly keep more of the earnings from my job and make a profit sooner from a business by learning and using good money management principles. In other words, the imagined gain and joy of achieving my desires became greater than the imagined fear.
You too must go through a process of your choosing to overcome the fear within you. Life on this planet is too short to give it over to fears, most of which do not exist in reality and never will. One of the saddest commentaries on human history is the abundant availability of great wealth but fear all too often succeeds in blinding us to the possibility of having that wealth.
However, this I know for sure. You can claim or re-claim control of your own mind power. You are the most miraculous of all living beings on earth. You are the owner of a mind that is so stupendous, that as you truly begin mastering your mind power and consciously using it, there is no dream that you can dream that you cannot achieve.

Even before the financial overturn happened in Wall Street this year, there had already been several losses that American companies have been reporting about. These losses are no joke and pose greater risks because of the figures that are not just on the level of thousands but of billions and a timeframe of a year. If today’s financial problem has been rooted to a more complicated issues on economic policies and other international investment disparagements, the older problem is rooted on the premise of internal embezzlement of none other than the companies’ employees. Yes. Sad to accept but American businesses have been ailing for quite some 40 billion dollars of losses caused by company theft and other embezzlements. Though this problem might seem to be a parody of the employers or a complete exaggeration to front the government of tax evasion, this has never erased the fact that the problem in employment theft is a reality and is really destructive.
In a survey posted at Inquest’s website, 30% of failures in the businesses in the land is said to be the end product of large and small scale company theft and dishonesty. Almost all types of businesses in America experience the same fate. Most of the time, companies with most losses are those which has something to do with merchandising and direct selling. Critically, the country is loosing honest employees or is just being tolerated by ignorance of the employers.
Almost all establishments in the US these days are already equipped with high end surveillance systems. Almost every corner of the office, store, or even outside premise of a company is installed with cameras that monitors every move of employees and clients alike. These systems are said to have been installed in order to avoid any theft that can happen both internally and externally. However, surveillance systems are not the only way to solve this classic problem. Same website suggested that if all companies take it by heart to conduct background checks on all their employees and applicants, the number of incidents can be lowered.
However, how can an employee rob a company? What are the kinds or thefts that an employee can do to a particularly company? Basically, there are so many ways in which an employee can take advantage of the company illegally.
1. Falsifying Receipts – Most of the time, receipts are not computer generated. These are often hand printed. Dishonest clerks can forge receipts and charge a client of a higher price and have the difference kept in the employee’s pocket.
2. Stealing Merchandise – this is the most common theft that can happen in a store. Often, stolen products are those small and easy to keep ones. There are so many ways on how an employee may steal merchandise out of the store.
3. Cash Theft – this happens mostly to cashiers or those employees that receives payments. Especially to those that has no specific recording system, services or products can be sold without undergoing on a process.
4. Bookkeeping Fraud – receipts are very important in auditing. So there are times that in order for employees to get something from the company illegally, they would hide in receipts and declare a forged amount on the record.
5. Fake Purchases – employees may intentionally buy things and had it reflected on the record but the purchase did not actually happened. Or they can create imaginary suppliers which are actually just them.
<a href=”http://www.identitypi.com”>Background check </a>reports basically lay off a limit to these types of employees before they can be accepted to the company. The past records of a particular employee will tell you whether he/she is worthy of trust or not. Pre-employment checks are an effective way to save a company’s future. This is a solution that literally said as saving billions with 30 bucks.

Just having a great website is simply not adequate to make your score on the World Wide Web (WWW)! The website optimization process is of paramount importance in the internet marketing strategy. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN perform a considerable role in the success of a website. If the search engines can’t find your site, then for sure your prospective customer wont find it either.
This is known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Website optimization.
Website optimization broadly means improvement and acceleration of the performance of a website. It simply implies that a website is made popular using various channels of site promotion. By increasing its visibility of a site it is assured that the potential customers will positively visit a site, if they are looking for products and services offered on the site. It also aims to retain the traffic of the site and prevents customers from navigating elsewhere.
There are some rules to be followed in order to optimize a site. Like, it is essential that the content of a web page is written in a language that targets those keywords that are most important for a particular business. Strategies like this help the website to be found by the search engines and have a high ranking or placement in the search engine results. It should be remembered that all the search engines have a different operating system and use different rules for ranking a website. Through this process the search engines rank a website and can place it at the top of the list in response to search. It is a long and complicated procedure undertaken by the search engines to consider all these variations.
In order to achieve a higher rank in the result of the search engines there are certain steps which are followed:
Optimized content on the Website
The first and fore most step involves placing optimized content in all pages of the
website. The content is optimized by adding the targeted keywords in the right density at the right place. Keyword usage in site content plays an important role in the indexing process of the search engines.
Adding Tags
Tags are general terms that help describe your post. Adding or making changes to Meta tags, Title tags, H1 tags, H2 tags, all in anchor text, and alt tags for images, after keywords research. A thorough keyword analysis for this purpose.
Link building
The next step is of link building. It is an important part of search engine optimization and basically involves linking of a website with other websites. Link Building done on a site with quality backlinks is one of the many important aspects considered by search engines, while determining the rankings of a site.
Maintenance of the Website
This involves reporting on improvement in ranking on a regular basis. Re-optimization and resubmission based on client feedback. Website statistics monitoring and conversion tracking.

The convenience of plastic money or credit cards is undeniable. People carry them wherever they go because they’re a safer way to make purchases. These great financing tools however can create trouble when not used with caution. Millions of consumers all over the world find themselves stuck with huge credit card debt. The reason? Uncontrolled credit card spending.
In some cases, the only way to straighten out the problem is through debt consolidation. Since the problem begins with missed or delayed credit card payments, consolidating credit cards and other types of debt could be the most effective solution. Through consolidation, an individual will only be paying a single interest rate instead of several interest rates from each of his creditors. By cutting back the amount of interest rate he pays, a consumer can save significantly on his debts. In addition, the debt consolidation company could give a lower rate of interest as this is what their service is about.
Another advantage of getting debt consolidation is that the borrower can obtain new repayment options. The credit consolidation company would make arrangements with the client’s creditors to come with a better payment term. The borrower can take advantage of the new payment terms so he can get out from under his debts easier.
Not An Easy Way Out From Under Debt. What every borrower should know is that by joining a debt consolidation program doesn’t always mean an easy way out of your debts. As the borrower, you are still responsible for the debts you owe and it would require determination and effort on your part in order to make the consolidation program work for you.
The first thing you need to do is to know exactly how much you owe from different creditors. Get a copy of your credit report to be sure that there are no incorrect charges in your account. You would need to do some of your own research in finding the right debt consolidation company to help you. Do not submit a lot of applications to different consolidation companies without doing research. Use the internet to find out about their rates and conditions. Call each company and make inquiries about their debt consolidation program. Remember to choose cautiously as you don’t want to get involved with a predatory consolidation company.
The Importance of Commitment. One important thing to remember is that once you’ve entered into a debt consolidation program, you would have to be committed in making your monthly payments to your consolidation company. You can’t afford to delay or miss another payment because you’re already given a consolidated repayment term at a lower interest. Thus, do all you can to keep up with your debts?
It would mean not using your credit cards for new purchases for a while, cutting back on your expenses, getting a second job to be able to make payments. If you think that the problem is in your spending habits, then don’t hesitate to seek help from a reputable, trustworthy credit counseling service. Recognize the problem and be willing to make some changes before it’s too late.

Boxing has long been one of the most intense sports you will ever compete in. At any level, several minutes at the mercy of your opponent for up to 12 rounds will determine whether you have what it takes to succeed in the sport. Boxing requires a number of individual attributes rarely required in one lone sportsman.
They must have the mental focus to remember exactly what steps to take in the chess-game that can develop inside the ring. A mental focus that must remain despite blood dripping down you cheek, vision impairment or the sight of your opponent coming in to finish the job. They must have the stamina to stand toe-to-toe with their opponents for as long as it takes, both defending numerous energy sapping blows, whilst having the strength to counter their opponents punches and land blows of their own powerful enough to force them back or achieve your goal – knock them out! Finally, they must have the skill and speed within themselves to force their muscles into quick yet explosive, powerful movements to strike an opponent trained well in avoiding them. All these things and many more require countless hours in the gym. Make no mistake about it, the difference between world champions and nearly men are those extra efforts you commit your body to in training. Few people recognise the motivation and energy required to reach the top level.
Boxing also relies heavily on physical shape and size (try telling that to Mike Tyson). An extra inch of reach or height can give a fighter the advantage he needs. This is where the endless hours of training are required to make the most of what nature gave you. Your cardio work must be at the very top level, your skills must be constantly honed and improved upon and the extra power needed to knock an opponent out must be strived for.
However, one cannot simply step into the gym 5 or 6 hours a day and give it their all without taking on board the best nutritional advice on offer and taking advantage of a growing range of sports supplements that will give you that extra edge. Sports supplements are becoming an essential ingredient in all aspects of modern sport and can make the difference between first and second place. If you’re sat in your corner, waiting to stand up and begin the 12th round of a fight, muscles aching, head spinning, legs shaking, you will need to know you did everything you could to make sure your body is in the best physical shape to stand up and finish the fight on a high. Sports supplements will give you that extra pinch of power to see your opponent kissing mat.
A Boxer’s Diet
The diet of any serious boxer will coincide with their weight class, therefore they may be restricted in the amount of food they eat and amount of weight they require to add. As in all sports diets, protein, carbohydrates and fats are all essential to provide the energy and nutrients a boxer needs to stay fit and healthy.
Protein: Whether training or after actual fights, a Boxer’s muscles will experience small tears as the muscle fibres are stretched and strained beyond their comfortable limit. Protein is essential to ensure the muscle heals stronger than before and is ready to commence further punishment day to day. More so when leading up to a fight, a Boxer’s body and therefore muscles are tested to the limit in a last push to reach their potential. Furthermore, keeping topped up with protein ensures the bodies’ energy supplies are also increased, preventing muscle loss when the body requires energy from its own muscle. Similar to bodybuilders, dieticians suggest Protein makes up around 35% of your daily food intake.
Carbohydrates: Large amounts of carbohydrates are essential to any sportsman’s diet, and never more so than a boxer. Dieticians suggest Carbohydrates make up around 50 of a boxer’s diet.
Off-Season: When not fighting or involved in less intensive fight training, boxer’s must alter their diet slightly to make up for this, usually consisting of keeping carbohydrate intake high, whilst limiting fat and protein intake to around 20% each.
Pre-Fight: Experts recommend fighters eat smaller, more regular meals when preparing for a fight to keep energy levels topped up to a maximum and discourage the intake of larger, stodgy meals that will bog the body down in the digestion process. Lighter starchy foods such as brown bread and cereals are preferred over most others.
Post-Fight: Immediately after a fight or heavy training session, boxers must supply their bodies with high amounts of protein and carbohydrates to increase energy glycogen levels and prevent the body from using its own muscle mass as energy.
