Provincetown on Cape Cod
July 22nd, 2008 by colewebdevIf you are planning a vacation getaway to Cape Cod you have made an excellent decision. It has the best beaches and the best activities in all of New England. Once you visit the Cape you will want to come back year after year. The towns that make up Cape Cod are separated into sections such as: Upper Cape, Middle Cape and Lower Cape. Each section of The Cape is comprised of small towns and villages and they are all very unique. At the beginning of the Cape you will be in the town of Bourne and at the very tip of the Cape you will be in Provincetown. From one end of Cape Cod to the other there are so many sites to see and things to do. While visiting you should make sure to go on a whale watch, walk the sandy beaches, browse the art galleries, hike on the trails and so much more.
All of the towns on are great to stay in and they each have their own unique places to see and things to do. One of the neatest towns is Provincetown. Provincetown is also know as Ptown and it is located at the very tip of Cape Cod. Ptown is know for the local artists and fisherman. The town is located on a one way street that meanders along art galleries, shopping and restaurants. While visiting Ptown make sure to try some of the local restaurants and walk up the Provincetown Monument. There are beautiful beaches in Provincetown as well as excellent places to stay such as B & B’s and motels and hotels and more.
Living on the Cape is a great step if you have come and visited and you have fallen in love with it’s charm and character. But just we aware that the wintertime on the Cape is much different than the summertime. There are not as many people in the winer and a lot of the local stores and galleries and restaurants close down for the winter. People who live there like to enjoy the serenity in the winter and also enjoy the crowds in the summer.
Whether you are visiting Cape Cod or living there, it is like no other place I have been and it is just a great place to come and stay and enjoy when you can.
